It would not be that unjustified if he'd chosen to take oath in his mother tongue, Maithali or whatever. The corrupt guy who had no problems wearing daura suruwal all his life as a judge, while he could earn money from corruption, now tries to make fun of the whole country by taking oath as the Vice president of the country in a foreign language just to show how loyal he is to the southern neighbour. GPK also looks disgusted. Je bhaye pani, at least he is a Nepali and has respect for Nepal. But Jha, by taking the significant oath in Hindi, he has clearly demonstrated that he does not respect and love Nepali integrity and sovereignity. Even Maithali or any language spoken in Terai or any part of the Nepali would have been acceptable as it would have representated a part of Nepal, but Hindi is not a language of Nepal and certainly does not represent any of Nepal. What a shame!

Nehru hatched a plan to grab this country through sex-crazy king Tribhuvan. Nehru drafted an accord and he wanted Ranas to sign the accord which he had drafted for Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. When Rana Mohan Sumsheer refused to sign than Nehru wanted to intervene in Nepal in 1949 but in the meantime Bijaya Sumsheer the then Nepali Ambassador to India, son of Mohan Sumsheer told Nehru that Nepal is ready to sign a modified treaty which is called the treaty of 1950. Becuse Nehru was determined to take Nepal by any means even the treaty of 1950 did not satisfy him and he waged a war against Nepal in disguise of Nepali Congress in 1950.

One should not forget the first Koirala primeminister and revolutioary superme commander in chief of NC B.P. Koirala's elder brother (Matrika), who had invited Indian Army in Nepal and publicly prounced that the state language of Nepal should be Hindi.

After Mahendra took over he backed the nationalsitic forces and slowly he grabbed the foreign policy from the hands of India and kickedout Indian forces from Nepal. Due to our geographical status we were forced to fully rely on India. When Mahendra created Mahendra Raj Marga which meant that the Nepalease can travel from Mechi to Mahakali without stepping into India. (Before that we were compelled to go to India even for travling within Nepal).... This infuriated the masters in Delhi. In 1960 when the accord of Kodari Raj Marga was signed with China, India was very annoyed and wanted to intervene by any means. Due to the lackof leadership (far-sighted-ness and statesmanship) among the ruling circles of Nepal India was able to penetrate again in 1946 Bikram Sambat  and so called democracy was restored, with their blessings. After that naked and open hegomonistic attitude by Indian Ambassy is no longer a secret. Becuase of the foolishness of King Gyanendra, India got another chance to overthrow him and install its puppet government in this manner. All the Bahun Bajes in three big parties NC, CPNUML and even Maobadis have proved themselves to be the puppets in the hands of Delhi's rulers. When the insurgency was started by Maobadis or by NC (in the name of Democracy) or in the name of Ganatantra it was fully supported by Delhi. Corrupt Bahun leadership in CPNUML were also getting the blessings of Delhi Durbar which ultimately corrupted our National machinary and now this nation has become a nation without nationality. The citizenship-bill which was passed by the nominated parliament and the support for that bill by all the big three parties is a big concern

Indian influence among these Bahun Bajes has virtually enslaved this country and made Nepalese a third grade citizen in their own country. The foolishness shown by king Gyanendra and his actions enhanced the political situation in favour of India. Though since 1950 the then governments in Nepal all were compelled to bow down in the interest of Delhi, only the degree differs. If you want to see this country independent and souvern than you will have to throw-out all big bahuns from all the three big parties, otherwise the fate of Nepal will remain in the hands of Delhi's mercy.

Girjau, Makuney and the company must be happy. This must be a great achievement for them cos they have brought this fateful day.

1) Granting citizenship to 2 lakh (200, 000) people majority from India.
2) Increasing constituency by double. (thats why Madhes based parties are powerful now).
3) Majority of the protestors during madhes riots were from NC, UML. Police chief complained about high level pressure to release them each time police intervened. (Pressure from NC as it was in Power ).
4) Giving deaf ear to Kapilbastu riots, rautahat riot where many innocent lives were lost.

6)Girjau always talked about danger to our nationality. But sent Mahesh Acharya to negotiate with Madhesi at the Indian Embassy. (afno desh ko important deal inside indian embassy in Kathmandu).
7)Girjau signed a deal with Madhes parties, "One Madhes One Pradhes", Collective enrollment of Madhesis in the Nepali Army. A greatest mistakes to commit.
8) Girjau threw Gyanendra because he was promised by Maoists to be the first President of Nepal.
9) After Maoists refused presidentship Girjau again encouraged Madhesis to stop the CA procedures. Madhesis captured rostrum and didn't let CA function for 15 days as soon as Girjau gave his committment for resignation.
10) After that for the second time, Girjau gave his moral support to the Madhesis that their demand of "One Madhes One Pradhes should be fulfilled.
11) Madhesi leaders challenged 601 assembly members saying "Gorkhali ko ghuda teka diya".
12) After Maoists repeatly denied them Presidentship, Girjau & UML, supported His Excellency Parmananda Jha and Rambaran yadav for presidency.
                                                              Therefore, this must be a happy day for Girjau and his Company........

First day at his job, Vice Prez Jha sparks protests after swearing in Hindi

There were minor demonstrations across the country against the newly elected Vice President Parmananda Jha for taking oath of office and secrecy in Hindi language during the President and Vice-Presidential swearing in ceremony at Shital Niwas Wednesday.

Student organisations affiliated with different parties staged demonstrations in various parts of the capital Thursday against Vice President Jha taking the oath of office in a "foreign language". They demanded that VP Jha publicly apologise for this.

Similarly, locals of Gajuri in Dhading district barred vehicles from plying on the road by imposing transportation strike Thursday. They were apparently enraged by Vice President Jha taking oath in Hindi.

They also said that this was a matter of grave concern which has put at risk the sovereignty of the country. Likewise, Chure Bhawar Ekata Samaj, a party which claims to work for the people of hilly origin living in the Terai, also obstructed traffic for more than an hours in the East-West highway passing through Saptari district.

The transportation strike had caused a long traffic snarl in the highway, causing a great problem for passengers.

In Butwal also local youths chanted slogans against the newly elected VP and blocked traffic in the major roads and intersections. There were reports of protests in Makwanpur, Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Dadelhura and Tahahun also.

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, clad in the national custom, had taken the oath of office and secrecy in Nepali. However, when he administered the oath of office to his deputy Jha, who was clad in a dress many identify with Indian parliamentarians, the latter preferred to take it in Hindi, raising a eyebrows among the high-level dignitaries and political leaders present there.

According to an independent statistics, only 0.05 percent of people living in Terai speak Hindi. The majority of the people there speak Bhojpuri, Maithali, Avadhi and other local dialects. However, Madhesi leaders prefer to mostly speak in Hindi during the parliamentary proceedings saying that it is a "lingua franca" in Terai. nepalnews.com July 24 08

Girija might be surprised but not shocked. After all, he grew up in India, he breaths when he gets permission from India, his brother tried to make hindi a Nepali language. his family member is dancing and entertaining Indians. in his life time, he has destroyed Nepal. Now why would he be shocked? Girija is a big desha for Nepal. he completely destroyed the country.

Girjau is not shocked. In fact if you watch the video carefully, Girjau speaks in Hindi, to complete the last words of swearing in. He in fact completes the sentences.

Watch what Parmananda speaks and Girjau is saying the same thing  just before him. They serve the same masters......

I'm not surprised. Upendra Yadav, Mahanta thakur gave thier half an hour long speech in Hindi in front of the CA assembly which has been elected by People. Response was "tali ko gadgadahat".

Upendra Yadav says, "Gorkhali ko ghuda teka diya" and there is claps. It happened a month back in the CA assembly. I think yo kura pani pachisakyo..........

Girijau probably thinks Nepali and Hindi are the same!! He himself speaks in Hindi even in formal ceremonies when he goes to Delhi. He may not have encouraged Chareshananda to take oath in Hindi as claimed by Umesh but it does seem that he's not the least perturbed by the VP's behavior.

I feel the leaders of Girijau's generation who were trained in India know that Nepali is our language but probably do not see Hindi as a foreign language. What one feels is not important as long as s/he follows the constitution. Let's hope our Rit Prasad's writ will do something to block the open move to forcefully introduce Hindi as the other official language in Nepal.

काठमाडौं, १० साउन : मधेसी जनअधिकार फोरमका तर्फबाट उपराष्ट्रपति बनेका परमानन्द झाले पार्टीकै निर्देशनमा हिन्दी भाषामा शपथग्रहण गर्नुभएको खुलासा भएको छ ।

साउन ६ गते निर्वाचित उपराष्ट्रपति झालाई फोरमका अध्यक्ष उपेन्द्र यादवले 'तपाइाले हिन्दी भाषामा शपथ लिनुपर्छ’ भन्दै ठाडो आदेश दिएको पार्टीका एक केन्द्रीय सदस्यले बताए । यादवको आदेशलाई स्वीकार्दै उपराष्ट्रपति झाले 'पार्टीको र उताको जो आदेश’ भन्नुभएको थियो । 'उताको’ भनेर उपराष्ट्रपतिले दक्षिणतिरको शक्तिलाई इंगित गरेको हुनसक्ने आँकलन फोरमभित्रै गरिएको छ ।

फोरम स्रोतका अनुसार झालाई हिन्दी भाषामा शपथ लिन निर्देशन गर्दा अध्यक्ष यादवले 'तपाइाले हिन्दी भाषामा शपथ लिनु भएन भने जिताएको पनि खेर जान्छ र माथि मैले जवाफ दिनुपर्छ समेत,’ भन्नुभएको थियो । 'उहाँले कसलाई जवाफ दिनुपर्छ भन्नुभएको हो त्यो भने खुलाउनुभएन,’ स्रोत भन्छ । यादवले संविधानसभा बैठकमा हिन्दीमै सम्बोधन गर्नुभएको थियो ।

उपराष्ट्रपति झाले हिन्दी भाषामा शपथ लिएका कारण पार्टीकै वरिष्ठ नेता विजयकुमार गच्छेदार असन्तुष्ट हुनुहुन्छ । 'त्यस विषयमा मलाई नसोध्नुस् । यो काम अध्यक्षले गर्नुभएको छ, उहाालाई सोध्नुस्, उहाा के भन्नुहुन्छ । म दुई/तीन दिनपछि बोल्छु,’ गच्छेदारले भन्नुभयो । फोरमका नेता वीपी यादवले पनि पार्टीकै निर्देशनमा उपराष्ट्रपति झाले शपथ लिएको स्विकार्नुभयो । 'चर्चामा आउनका लागि समेत झाले यस्तो गरेको हुनसक्छ,’ उहाँको भनाइ थियो ।
