what is wrong with some of you guys?? it is true "traditionally bahun re chhettrrey le rule garne post ma,minority,a guy from madeshi community pugnu."bahun ra chhe samaj ma tahalka maaachhhinu.... it's natural and obvious..I am shame to be with some of this mofo nepali, who is educated, lives in a modern world but acts/think like a jackas@@@@s and always carry that freakin traditional mind, narrow minded, hypocrite. Anyways, why you guys have a problem with a madeshi being as a president?????????because he is a guy from madeshi community..his accent is different,he wears dhoti, lives near india.... do not forget ppl one more time DO NOT FORGET nepal is made with ppl of different culture, race, language, ethnicity, religion and....many more???ANY NEPALI citizen has the similar right to be on that position just like F###kin girriiiijjjaaaa, hahhahahaaaaakune,f###uckchandeeee and other...?i think some ppl are seriously ill with some kinda disease called "racism and stereotype". He is a guy from madeshi community, doesn't mean that he is not nepali,he doesn't have feelin of patriotism.on the contrary i think he is a good citizen a good doctor and.,......... also ppl like you and your NARROW view always challenge and eventually crush the patriot feelin of ppl living on that region....i prefer educated ppl like him as a president of the nepal instead of being other dumbas@@s@@@ bhedaaa leader. Today for the first time in nepal's history, son of normal citizen, minority is the first president. Isn't that what we are waiting for......"ganatantra" or whtever................. .....................anyways.....congrat............. .....................

msa bro,
there is a difference between a common language which is neplai in our case and other languages.
lemme ask u a very simple question - can u understand maithali or other ethnic language? i don't beside nepali.
and here we are not talking about a common citizen, we are talking about a VP of a nation? i don't care what he speaks or wears in his house boundary but i do care when he is in front of nepal.
don't u see he was spitting on our faces when he took oath? i am sure he was laughing internally when he took the oath in hindi. he is thinking tum log kucch nahi kar payoge. ab nepal india hoigayal re.

Idiots... It's NOT about LOYALTY.....language is the common IDENTITY of a mass of people irrespective of their ethnic language, religion, color or race. Don't write everything that comes off your ass.

so a significant person like VP taking oath in Hindi in Nepali speaking nation don't harm Nepal's IDENTITY and pose a question to his LOYALTY????????????????????????????????????

uni... You're misunderstanding me. To represent Nepal, we have to speak NEPALI, nothing else, that is our identity. So I'm on your side...a VP NOT speaking Nepali is NOT qualified, no matter what logic you put forward. He should be stripped of the post right away and a serious investigation should be done, that is if our government has its priority straight. Millions speak Spanish in the US, still it is English that gives US as it identity.

As far I remember Nepali is( I hope it still is) our common national language , and there are many other national languages. and Hindi is neither of them. I would have digested if VP would have taken oath in Maithili as that is his mother-tongue. But hindi? why? Its just for provocation.
This is what I am talking about , preserving our interest in the new constitution. Let them do what ever they want to do now , but lets be aware .. and try to influence the new constitution to suit our way.

Let me tell you little bit of history and the facts might be helpful to understand the current events in Nepal.
Nehru hatched a plan to grab this country through sex-crazy king Tribhuvan. Nehru drafted an accord and he wanted Ranas to sign the accord which he had drafted for Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. When Rana Mohan Sumsheer refused to sign than Nehru wanted to intervene in Nepal in 1949 but in the meantime Bijaya Sumsheer the then Nepali Ambassador to India, son of Mohan Sumsheer told Nehru that Nepal is ready to sign a modified treaty which is called the treaty of 1950. Becuse Nehru was determined to take Nepal by any means even the treaty of 1950 did not satisfy him and he waged a war against Nepal in disguise of Nepali Congress in 1950.
One should not forget the first Koirala primeminister and revolutioary superme commander in chief of NC B.P. Koirala's elder brother (Matrika), who had invited Indian Army in Nepal and publicly prounced that the state language of Nepal should be Hindi.
After Mahendra took over he backed the nationalsitic forces and slowly he grabbed the foreign policy from the hands of India and kickedout Indian forces from Nepal. Due to our geographical status we were forced to fully rely on India. When Mahendra created Mahendra Raj Marga which meant that the Nepalease can travel from Mechi to Mahakali without stepping into India. (Before that we were compelled to go to India even for travling within Nepal).... This infuriated the masters in Delhi. In 1960 when the accord of Kodari Raj Marga was signed with China, India was very annoyed and wanted to intervene by any means. Due to the lackof leadership (far-sighted-ness and statesmanship) among the ruling circles of Nepal India was able to penetrate again in 1946 Bikram Sambat (1989 A.d. ?) and so called democracy was restored, with their blessings. After that naked and open hegomonistic attitude by Indian Ambassy is no longer a secret. Becuase of the foolishness of King Gyanendra, India got another chance to overthrow him and install its puppet government in this manner. All the Bahun Bajes in three big parties NC, CPNUML and even Maobadis have proved themselves to be the puppets in the hands of Delhi's rulers. When the insurgency was started by Maobadis or by NC (in the name of Democracy) or in the name of Ganatantra it was fully supported by Delhi. Corrupt Bahun leadership in CPNUML were also getting the blessings of Delhi Durbar which ultimately corrupted our National machinary and now this nation has become a nation without nationality. The citizenship-bill which was passed by the nominated parliament and the support for that bill by all the big three parties is a big concern
.Indian influence among these Bahun Bajes has virtually enslaved this country and made Nepalese a third grade citizen in their own country. The foolishness shown by king Gyanendra and his actions enhanced the political situation in favour of India. Though since 1950 the then governments in Nepal all were compelled to bow down in the interest of Delhi, only the degree differs. If you want to see this country independent and souvern than you will have to throw-out all big bahuns from all the three big parties, otherwise the fate of Nepal will remain in the hands of Delhi's mercy.

i agree wid nepalichora to some extent. bt as far as concerned wid all three bahuns, i dont think that its da person or a cast which made them bow down infront of delhi. i think its thier rank and the situation. whoever will b in those three bahun's position, still delhi will try its best to make them bow down. only degree will b da difference.
and its not da delhi's fault to do that. our leaders, that means we all are assholes to bow infront of them. we are the one who selects them in every elections even knowin them that they will not gonna do good. so first all nepalese ppl living in nepal should be practically aware of these stuffs n then only we will b able to find out a new way for new nepal.
