I believe the mother tongue of Parmanda Jha (So called vc of new Nepal) is maithali or bhojpuri. But he too this oath  in Hindi. Ok protest are going on as always nothing new about that but I wonder what if he had taken the oath in Maithali or Bhojpuri instead of Hindi would people not protest? What do you say.. And hey I am not bhojpuri or maithali supporter I speak nepali and that’s the only one I know.

ताज्जुब कि बात यह है कि अच्छेभले बाहुन लोग उसि किच्चड बाहुन नेताओँ को सापोर्ट क्युँ करते है ?

President, VP, PM, and for that matter any other "civil servants" should be required to speak in Nepali during any "official" events. They are representing Nepal not their constituent, or their voting districts, etc. So, if you are representing Nepal be prepared to speak in Nepali and ware Nepali national dress! This is an international norm or speak in every language that is spoken throughout the country.

this joker Jha should be lynched unless he apologizes and voluntarily quits form his post.

I am thinking why the hell did he have to take the oath of office of the Vice President of Nepal in Hindi. I say forget ethnic languages, when you are taking a Oath for one of the highest post in Office he/she is required to speak the National Language of that Country otherwise they have no right as so what to represent the country.

If the MOFO want's to speak hindi and represent INDIA, I thin it is high time he move to the south of the Border and denounce his Nepalipan and move out of the country.

I am 100% sure no Madhesi has liked what he has done, expect a few Indian's who claim to be Nepali.. AWolf in a Sheeps Clothing.

guys, what i think, don't let any of our leaders speak hindi or any other languages besides Nepali whenever they visit outside the country , interviewed by foregin tv,radio or newspapers.

if they can't speak english, let them hire one translater. what u guys think?

its shame that leader (most of them are worst than Bhusya Kukur though) speak hindi everywhere

 

This is a serious matter a head of the state taking oath in foreign language. when he was taking a oath he was representing the whole country,  no matter what part of country we come from or what language we feel comfortable first of all we all are Nepali and that's our mother language. when people elect their representative they expect him/ her to act in the interest of the people not for his tribe or community but for the whole country.. so his saying that some 200000 people speak Hindi doesn't justify his action.. When he was taking oath he was being sworn as Vice President of Nepal and he just embarrassed the whole country by taking the oath in foreign language. Man that man has jeopardies our sovereignty.  So he should be immediately  sacked form  his position..  coz  its a matter of grave concern.
