i dont understand the heading of the thread. it is supposed to show something  bad about dipendra, but instead i see he is mixed up with the common people and acting like a regular citizen then from any high class family. Unless you are trying to say he was not supposed to mingle with regular people and act like a god.

i see nothing wrong in the video

at a time when our leaders shunning our national dress in public appearance and taking oath in hindi, this video is a good reminder to them about nationalism

i was surprised to see dipendra singing so well and playing madal

he kmows the wording of ths songs too

wow dipendra u rock man

true,

i don't see nothing wrong on this video.

Dipendra was equally  Nepali  as you and i are. he was born and brought up  in Nepal, so i don't think there is any thing to be suprised , just becasue he knew songs well  Bikash  K.C

Exactly, Bikash. Anyone can tell, had dependra lived as a king, country wouldn't have faced this chaos nor this murderer has reached to the power.

It is not chartikala....but instead it is too nice to see our Dipendra being mixed up with normal people in normal way and not as a King's son or some highly dignified person...  It is a matter of proud to see him with all normal Nepalese like this...

I wish i was there at that moment... It would have been the one of  most precious moments of my life.

(I wonder why *youngblood* takes this as **chartikala**. If you have mistakenly used that word, then sometimes it happens...but if purposely, then i will just tell you to grow up )

for sajha.....he knows the wordings too bhanera maile k bhanna khojeko bhane how the nepali

lok- sangeet had been so close to his heart

i had imagined he must have listened to some angreji songs only, that too hard core rock becos of his upbringings

suburb(aka AP) I DONT KNOW how his kingship would have been if he had alived

but one thing is sure monarchy would not have been abolished

He was amazingly down to earth guy.. We had a chance to dance with him in the same way in Islamabad in Ambessador's home party. And yeah, he plays 'madal' so perfect and he really was good in dancing. But that time, no camera was allowed inside. He himself asked us to call him 'sir'.. when he realized that we had difficulty using royal language.. then we called him 'sir' and 'tapai' instead of 'baksiyos'.

I still remember, he came to me and asked to hold his glass for a while, and he danced in floor. He used to sit on carpet on floor and play madal. We all were surprised to seem so down to earth and friendly. And yeah, his accent was totally like that of a simple villagers..

One thing - I noticed his drinking too much, and chain smoking.

By the way, how come is it his 'chartikala' when he is enjoying with public ?
