All of we know the kind of customer service we get from the Nepali Company back home at Nepal. I do not put a blame to them but feel sorry for them as they do not really understand the customer loyalty. May be lack of knowledge on how to treat their valued customer and so forth. We can see the clear difference when we get customer service from the other countries companies. I am not specifying US companies only, just generalizing it.

I have recently send some money to Nepal by Muncha house for tihar 'kinmel' for the first time. After much technical verification over the phone (as they said its for the first time customers only), they said it will take 2 business days to deliver which means my family have to wait for another 2 days (not good for the immediate needy one). I have no complain about the delivery which they did but while sending the  money through their site, I have an option to send 'text message'. too which I wrote to my wife. Its more important to her, to me than the money I send. It express my feelings but Muncha did not even care about mentioning that message to her. I was socked. Is not that darn Nepali para of sending money...hurt badly I send am email to them but did not get any response so far. Thats Mucha guys !!!

buddy you are very very right. i have been disappointed with these online sites as well. First i tried muncha and they screwed up te giift and the instruction too. I tried to send a phone and the phone was in black color in the picture, there was no choice for the color, but to my suprise they took a pink color phone. they will screw up your insruction no matter how simple instruction it is. Secondly, i tried sending through thamel.com and they were no better too. they were supposed to take the gift to my girl friends work and I instructed them very good that she works until 4 o clock only and they need to take it before 4 o 'clock before she goes home but they took the gift to her house at 8 o clock in the night. and their excuse was that they were very busy in the valentine day. there were other insidents too where they have not done it right. so i have stop sendin gift through these sites.

I don't know about the gifts, but till date i feel Prabhu is the best money transfer to send money or direct bank to bank. Prabhu really give you good rate in context of money and i have been using from 6 months. So, in the case of money transfer use Prabhu Money Transfer. In case of gifts it's better to send in someone's hand when they are visiting back to country.
