Like most of you, I have a love-hate relationship with sajha. San has requested old writers to come back.  It’s like the runaway dad finally coming back to see the forlorn son after 10 years. It won’t work! Unless someone sheds a tear or two. Even then, it’s a long way to go.

But the problem is not just with writers. It’s with the quality of threads and sajha culture as a whole. You aren’t going to get back your son unless you admit you made a mistake and now are ready to change.

So, in this thread I am addressing what I believe to be my reasons for a lower participation in the threads. I am sure everyone has their own. Feel free to put down yours, and maybe we can find a solution towards making sajha better.

5 things I hate about sajha:

1.  I hate the annoying ads all over the sajha homepage. In terms of number of advertisements, I have observed only porn sites can beat sajha’s retina-irritating flashy ads.

2.  I hate when people post a sentence-long topic and then go ‘do you agree?’ If you don’t have much to say, then don’t post anything. Have a bit of eloquence and give us some background. Give us your opinion. I come here for discussion, not for a Q & A session.

3.  I hate when people post the news. If I wanted to read the phuking news, I have the rest of the internet. Share your ideas. If you want to put down an article tell us your views on it.

4.  I hate and I hate with all my guts any kind of racist threads. If you are going to point fingers with absolute rubbish rather than reason, then you don’t deserve to express. 

5.  Lastly, I hate all those vague ‘urgent help’ threads. Yes, your H1B hasn’t arrived and, no it’s not the end of the world. So, please save me from posting the VIN number of your new car.

HI Guys, Is not that a good help ? asking help about issues like H1, Visa, college, Sending/Receiving money, inviting dependent, flight details, Apartment rent, VIN Check. I am a new comer and I normally come here for looking information on this issues. I think any message posted on the thread should be informative to others. That is 'sajha' to all.

1. I tend to write nonsense and yet everybody can read it.

2. It acts as a punch bag for most of the people. Could be good for them, but do others really care?

3. I hate reiteration. But hey, thats me. Most people learn that way.

4. Lacks fun most of the times. Cmon guys loosen up a bit. Helps ease your brain from academics/profession, whatever you are into.

5. It makes me look older than i actually am. I dont like it at all. Girls dont like it as well, unless they are after oldmaven

I agree with your point on #1 and #4.  I don't like all the adds but again there is nothing wrong with making extra bucks.  About #4 on all the racist post completely agree and I believe the admin has been soft on this lately.  Before San used to delete such thread but recently he's been ignoring them.  I don't care about #2 and 3 but common dude, what's wrong with asking help regarding immigration and VIN.  If you don't like it or can't help than don't open that tread.  To me #5 is the best reason I like Sajha.

ONE and ONLY thing I hate about sajha is the Racist Thread that are started and not put down, it always gets out of hand, I can see a few ones already up!!!

I think those have to be moderated a little bit more, otherwise I still promote Freedom of Speech, this is America, People should be free to say whatever they want too, without insulting and harming others..
Hate crime is not tolerated in this country so any hate thread started should be brought down quickly..
Sajha is a place where people come to Bond not create havoc and chaos....

For information and Vin check maybe start another box, can't be posting on Kurakani, there is a freaking box for immigration itself, why not use that,, I dont' care if I have H1 or the other does or not, that is his problem, I am not here to slove everyone's personal problems...

Walkahead I don't come to Sajha to slove yor visa or whatever reason problem, we come here to talk about other things, there is a place and time for everything... more writers and stories would be awesome.. and sajha is completely chaotic. but thats the beauty of it.
if everything was organized and all we had were awesome stories, then this would be a literary forum. . i love sajha because its full of crap, and overloaded with information and above all... there are nice people, kind, helpful genuine people.. people who will help someone with their math homework, check someone's VIN number, share information on visa status, donate money for a good cause... obviously there are racists issues and dumb threads.. but they make me laugh.. its more amusing than annoying.

i like sajha the way it is.. i would think there are too many flashy ads and nasty pictures, but then I have never had to maintian a website of this magnitude, so I wouldnt know.

sajha is like nepal. unorganized, jpt, in complete disarray and thats exactly why i love it.

also.. if you dont want think you are here to solve other people's personal problems, its very easy to not open the thread. saves you time and energy

I believe in teaching how to fish, not giving fish to fry...

I agreed point raised by "Neerman". However, I hate Sajha and their admistrators do not monitored the unhealthy, racist, offensive thread is posting. It should be healthy forum to help, share and flow the inforamtion each others, though it's always posting de-graded threads.

Hope, Sajha admistrators should must be shown and develop system-webpages to control such hateful information in future, so that everybody loves Sajha forum. May not hate and hear the situation this site as like  "Sajha Yatayat" condition in the future.
