Hello,

Yesterday night around 3 am I got call from my dad from nepal. He told me one of my neighbour daughter who was studing in Virginia International University got killed on car crash yesterday. She does not have anyone in virginia. Her name is Kritika Singh.

Can anyone please provide me some information about the accident. also can give me number of her friends or anyone whom i can contact and find out more. Please can anyone help her. You all must know how her parents might be feeling back home.

Thank you all for the information. My dad told me now they are trying to bring back body to nepal and you all know it cost a lot. It cost around 15000$. So we along with her friends are trying to raise some funds. So if you can please do help us.

Its one of our family memeber even if u don't know her she is neapli n our family member so we really need to help her..

I m also at minnesota and m trying to gather as much info as i can. I talked with some people at virgina and they r going to set up fund site.. so they might set up by today. as soon as i get any information i will let u know.

I talked to my dad just now and he was telling tht her mom is in great shocked.. she has not spoken or cry yet.

For me its really hard to deal with all this. she was my sis.

Thank you guys for you support. We are still in process of identifying her body and after that she will be taken to a funeral home. After that we can set up a fund to collect money. I believe Nepalese association in Virginia and Nepalese Embassy are in process to set up funds and make arrangement to send her back to Nepal. I will be going to Virginia on 11/19  morning to identify and release her body. Will keep you guys posted.

Dear Friends: Our beloved friend Ms. Kritika Singh aged twenty one from Kathmandu, Nepal is no longer with us. Her untimely demise in a car accident has made everyone very shocked and heart broken. She was studying BBA at Virginia International University and was in her 5 th semester. At the moment, her body is at the Inova Hospital, Gallows Road – VA and her grief-stricken parents have asked us in Virginia to send her body back as they will not be able to travel. In order to fulfill the wishes of the grieving family, we urge all our friends to kindly contribute whatever you can so that his family members in Nepal could perform Ms. Singh’s final rites. According to resources, the transportation cost and expenses can run up to USD 15,000.00. Thus, we would like to make a humble request to all the Nepalese residing in United States to help us as much as you can so that we can send her body home. May Kritika Singh’s soul rest in peace. May God provide the strength to her beloved family members and friends to go through such tragic event. We urge everyone to donate and support us financially for this cause.

Oh My God, such a heartbreaking news..May her soul rest in peace. Its injustice to see such young souls leaving the world. I could not imagine how their parents and dear and near ones are facing such a shocking news. She was our fellow Nepali sister. Myself having special connection with Hadigaun, was shocked to know she was also from there.

Its really shocking. Anyone could be the victim. I have seen such incident in my family and really know the pain and process the family goes through.
I wish the God to give the family the power to overcome the untimely demise of their loved one. My heart is always with you.
