इस्वी संवत् चलाउन गृहकार्य
कास
काठमाडौं, मंसिर १८ - सरकारले आउ“दो जनवरी १ बाट इस्वी संवत् चलाउनेबारे गृहकार्य थाल्ने भएको छ । मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बुधबारको बैठकमा 'इङ्लिस क्यालेन्डर' मा छलफल चलाउने र प्रतिक्रिया मूल्यांकन गरी निर्ण्र्ाालिने सहमति भएको हो । एकैचोटि निर्ण्र्ाालि“दा नकारँत्मक प्रतिक्रिया आउन सक्ने भएकाले छलफल चलाउने निर्ण्र्ााभएको एक मन्त्रीले बताए ।
उनका अनुसार इस्वी संवत्मा जाने प्रस्ताव नआए पनि अर्थ मन्त्रालयबाट भारतस“ग सीमा जोडिएका भन्सार कार्यालयमा आइतबार बिदा दिने प्रस्तावमाथि छलफल हु“दा 'इङ्लिस क्यालेन्डर' मा जाने विषय उठेको हो ।
भारतमा आइतबार भन्सार कार्यालय बन्द रहने र नेपालमा शनिबार बिदा हु“दा काममा कठिनाइ आएको प्रसंगमा इस्वी संवत्बारे छलफल भएको हो ।
मन्त्रिपरिषद्ले सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रका भन्सार कार्यालय आइतबार बन्द गर्ने निर्ण्र्ाागरेको छ । मुलुकभर शनिबारको सट्टा आइतबार बिदा दिनेबारे पनि छलफल चलाउने सहमति भएको छ । बैठकले कृषि विकास बैंकका महाप्रबन्धक योगेश्वर पन्त र राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंकका बोर्ड अध्यक्ष डा. भोलानाथ चालिसेलाई हटाउने निर्ण्र्ाागरेको छ ।

wont be surprised if one day they decide to change the country's name itself

if it helps to operate jobs efficiently, then why not? It doesn't mean that we are gonna forget about Bikram Sambat at all. We will still gonna use BS calendar, not for official work but for cultural, traditional, regional and social work and events. Think Globally!!!!!!

This government neither has the expertise to develop the country nor has any vision for that other than flimsy rhetoric! All they know is, just to keep some stupid bunch of crowd in delusion, change the name of the places-change the calendar etc etc. Crime is going high, fuel scarcity has become perennial disease, and people are living in the shadow of TERROR! What else can be expected?
