We should have quotes for low caste people in  all sector such as government jobs, KU, Pulchowk, hospitals ?

I do not have much knowledge on this, but if we have that is good for the uplift of lower caste people.

In a progressive world though. I don't see Nepal being one. Not in my lifetime. The youth I see and talk to make me realize what depths we have reached. Unprecedented to say the least.

i feel that Nepal is not being friendly to meritocracy....the good example is reservation in many fields and this culture has expanded so much that every other group wants their cut every time where there is possible personal gain .........With all due respect to diverse cultures it is fair to give special
treatment to some extent like until high school..... but a doctor from quota
would be a discrimination against all Nepalese whether they belong to a
group or not.....afterall once you are highschool graduate you almost stand at the same level with all groups of people and there is a fair chance to everyone...I am just sayin

I would think declaring self as a lower caste is the most demeaning thing that can ever be ....it is more demeaning than others saying it and BetterNepal please do not use the word "low caste" it really hurts ....

We should rather provide benefits to the children from these groups not to the one who is already graduate. ...., Just Think, If We want a tree we should first take care of it while it's in young seedling stage- I mean we provide better schooling for their children... .....after graduation they have to compete coz they are prepared ....I feel shame for those who still enjoy the job/education quotas even after they are graduated(especially bachelor's degree)..... Like Mundre, I agree that a graduate from a demarginalized group and a graduate from any other group are in same level. The current system in Nepal is like ...Mathi gai rako manchhe lai aajha mathi laijau.....Taala ko lai aajhai taala ghhasau....
