I am in my 90 days rule of my OPT and working for a small firm to extend my OPT. My company is not willing to sponsor for H1 this year. Is it ok if I continue to work for this guy and next year file for the H1. My OPT ends on Feb 24th 2010, and so what will happen to my status. How can I save my status that time? How can I apply for the H1 that time before April 1st? Thank you in advance.

Are you in opt or in 90 days rule of opt..right now? Your opt expire in Feb 2010. I did not get..what are you worrying about right now? For filing H1B, as far as I know..you cannot be in status to file H1B. But you can still file H1B, only thing is you cannot do status change..you have to go to consular for visa..after h1b is approved.
