Does anybody know about luggage weight restrictions? Parents are flying from KTM-DEL-DC. They are confused about the weight issues from KTM to DELHI and then from DELHI to DC. I believe the weight limit is 20kg from ktm to Delhi, but more from Delhi to US, so do they have to pay for extra weight or what is it. I have not a clue.

I don't think it would be problem for your parents in Delhi. Once they get off from Kathmandu (which I guess is 23 kgs per bag up to 2 bags), there won't be any problem. Don't worry.

Why don't you check with the airlines first? You may get all infos in their web page too. You will be getting authentic answer this way. Good luck.

It depends which airlines it is which you have not mentioned. Every airline has its office in ktm why don't you ask them and even your travel agent can provide you more information about it. Airlines with alliance for connecting flight allows the international standard luggage limit (i.e. 46kg).
