Hello, When I compile the LaTEX document using WinEdt, it shows error to compile in DVI extension for the files which contains figures in EPS extension. It does OKAY if there is no figure incorporated in the file. The error message is as follows: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Last OS error: No such file or directory MiKTeX GPL Ghostscript 8.60: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you have any idea to fix this? Responses towards the solution to the problem are highly appreciated ! Thanks !

Thanks for your responses but they did not help ! Let me explain my problem in detail. There is no problem to run the code without any figures in EPS fromat but when I run the code with the EPS format, it says : --------------------------------------------------------------------- Last OS error: No such file or directory MiKTeX GPL Ghostscript 8.60: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- I also tried to google about it and find similar stories in there. But the solutions given in there were also not of much help ! Thanks anyways !

Could be problem with the path. Check the paths. You can also try to make a pdf figure and then check to be sure.
