Extremely surprised to hear that there are no other Nepalese CCIEs until today. Not sure if it's even possible to accurately track it, unless they are going by the # of applicants that actually apply from Nepal. Also, it's very less likely that there are only 5 Sri Lankans that hold the cert. One of my co-workers from Sri Lanka got his last year -- and it's hard to believe that there are only 4 more CCIEs from that country in the whole world; again - unless they count the ones that apply from their countries. I remember doing a quick search few months ago to see if I could count Nepalese CISSPs; I randomly picked some of the Nepali last names, and ended up finding 3. I'm sure I missed many, if not most of the lastnames. Some of them were even common among Indians -- and it was just not possible to be certain. Regardless, congratulations to the new Nepalese CCIE recepient. :) ~@~
