Dear Friends:




The Joint Convention of the Nepalese Association of South-East America (NASeA) and the Association of Nepalese in Midwest America (ANMA) is being hosted by the Nepal Center of North Carolina (NCNC) over the Labor Day weekend. And on behalf of NCNC, we extend cordial invitation to the NASeA-ANMA Joint Convention 2009 in Raleigh, NC.




Raleigh & vicinity has a substantial and vibrant Nepali community, which has pitched in as one to make this two-day Convention experience a memorable one. We are assembling a very interesting and stimulating program for your participation and enjoyment. We hope to introduce some new features not usually seen in Nepali conventions. This is also an excellent time to renew old friendships and to make new friends from both Nepal and America. There will be plenty of time to visit with friends, reminisce about our past, enjoy the present and plan for the future. We can discuss events that shaped our lives, and decisions in progress that may determine our future.




For your entertainment, we proudly present you a grandiose Nepali Rock Concert featuring Deepak Bajracharya, Phiroj Shyangden (1974 AD), Jems Pradhan, & Sujil Karmacharya on Saturday, September 05, 2009.




The Convention will conclude with an extravagant cultural program. We are blessed in having ample local talent, and proud to present the “Joint Convention Cultural Program Committee.” This team is planning an extravagant show on Sunday evening, and is busy rehearsing a wonderful and exciting entertainment program focused on Nepalese culture and dance by both older and young participants.




We are in the process of finalizing the programs. We would certainly like to hear your suggestions or comments as soon as possible. If you are interested or know someone who wants to take part in the cultural program or in the morning programs, please contact us at the email given below.
