If I am in H1 status without visa stamped on my passport, can I travel thru this route SF -> HK ->KTM. F.Y.I, my F1 visa has already expired on Passport Thanks in advance

You dont require a transit Visa in Hongkong if flying with Cathay Pacific - doesn't matter whatever US visa u might be in! It also doesn't matter if ur original visa is expired - they will not require you a visa if u are flying with Cathay. Good Luck! Safe Travel!
