Hello friends, i completed my undergraduate from US and currently enrolled as a graudate student and i want to renew my Visa....Can i renew my VISA in Canada or do i have to go to Nepal ? What would be a best thing to do ? Will i have any problem during renewal process if am maintaing my status in US. Please share your experience. Thanks.

It is not 100% sure that your visa will be renewed in Canada or Mexico, and the consulate there can send you to your home country for the renewal. I believe it won't be a problem if you apply back home and renew it, "with all the financial documents."

Arrogant,
I am in the same boat as you are. And what sakuntala sharma wrote is absolutely true as well. It is not guaranteed that your visa will be renewed in Canada or Mexico. In case you try via Canada and you get rejected you cant come back to US and you need to leave Canada within 5 days of Visa denial. So, I suggest try from Nepal itself. Even you are denied once you will have a home to live and enough time to reapply. This is what my Int'd advisor told me. Good luck.

Thank you Sakuntalasharma and jacksparrow :), That was Very helpful.. I m thinking of going to Nepal in Summer 2010. Hopefully it wont' be a problem.
