Hey I just ordered one itouch 3rd generation. I didn't saw that the color was silver and i ordered it. I wanted black color so that i could present to my sister who said that she wanted a black itouch. So could you please comment how does itouch look in silver color?? If anyone has brought this color itouch then please comment me. I would be more than happy if anyone would please post the picture of itouch 3rd generation in silver.

Dude, do you mean ipod touch? There is no such thing as ipod touch 3rd gen as of today. And they dont come in any other color than stainless steel on the back and black glass on the front. If you are talking about ipod nano 3g, then it makes sense. Silver looks good. But befor you buy why dont you go to some store such as bestbuy or even walmart to check it out in reality.

There is the other thing that says itouch 3rd gen which is a trashy chinese piece of crap. Dont buy it. It's like khasa ko maal in Nepal. Duplicate stuff

ipod touch 3rd Gen Do not exist. They just have the iphone 3.0/3.1 software on them. 3rd gen will have a camera on the back.

Sojho, I am not an ipod touch expert, but ipod touch 3rd generation seems to exist in the market! i agree with your point of view, as it might just be a software upgrade from the earlier version. But still they are called iPod Touch Third Generation.

Apple store says "Already own an iPod touch? Update to the 3.1 software for just $4.95." This ,might mean all the hardware/processor remains almost  the same and only difference is software, but I haven't looked at it in details about product specification!!
