Make sure u carry both of them in the same laptop bag. Believe or not I slided without even having my big luggage scanned in our airport last time. TIA must be the coolest airport in the world.

last time i took two  laptops one in a luggage, another in hand carry. no problem at all. 

Thanks guys. Its only me or you guys too that gets list of demand when you guys going home. Some of my relatives email me and tell me if I can get i-phone to them as its just a $99.00 in US. Isn't it funny that people in Nepal know more about US than us.

Second, the great are the people in TIA as somebody already mentioned. If you have someone there, carry as many as you want. Believe me, TIA is in worst management ever. Chill out bra!

I am taking a 26 inch HD TV and a laptop. Do not worry.

Putting laptop in luggage bag is the last thing I'd ever do. Anyways, u guys know it better.

On my last visit to Nepal (last December), I took three laptops. The corrupt people at TIA were giving me hard time saying I need to pay some dollars to take >1 laptop. You know what I did? I put 1000 Rs into the pockets of 3 people, and they went silent. It's upto you, whether you can afford 3000 nepalese rupees or not. 

what was the exchange rate when you bribed the TIA officials? if someone else 

bribed these TIA officials please post it here, i am working on creating 

a matrix so that next anyone goes to nepal it will be easy to bribe them looking 

at the bribe matrix. thank you

What is the amount of custom tax that we need to pay per laptop? Does it depend on the brand of laptop, its price, both or is it random? I am also planning to send laptop with my friend. He has his own laptop too...
I am also sending camera. Are two digital cameras allowed? If not what is the amount of custom tax for a sony digital camera that cost around $100..

If you stalk two laptop and put it in the luggage they think it is one electronics. But the suitcase must be hard top.
If you want to take something, take 26 inch HDTV 1080 which cost more than 1500 in muncha house. I guess that is the best thing to carry.

m goin nepal with one my laptop and my frens wanna send their laptop tooo, but i havent decided yet.. . . 26' HDTV ..  man am taking 32" HDTV toooo . .. . .. .   hope i can sneak it in TIA .. ..  any goood palce to vissit. . . or goood clubs, bars . . . . new  ones .. . ..  neeed to relax a litllle bit in nepal after several years  .. ..

Dude; 32" is better than 26" You must put it inside the bag otherwise you have to pay hefty custom. Your baggage size should not be over 107 inch depending upon the airlines you are traveling, if over 50 lbs and over size you have to pay 50 dollars but  still it is  worth it if you can pass through the TIA.
