My ,,,,,,,,'s labor certification is in process and ....is hoping for response anytime now, he will be filing for i140 as soon as he get the labor thing done. He is wondering what is the priority date for Nepalis right now in EB3 category??

PDBH do you think the prirority dates will change? do u think the dates will go back on track meaning i had heard that it had been as recent as 2006? do u know what is causing the backlog?? Sorry for too many questions but i need answers....

Pixie,
PD will definitely change but not by leaps and bounds..It's difficult to predict whether or not it will get back in track soon..USCIS is unpredictable and it's anybody's guess whether or not it will be as recent as 2006..For couple of months i don't see it getting back to 2006..Me thinks that it's the unemployment rate in US that is causing the backlog..Honestly i don't have a definitive answer to that question and i am sure nobody will..

'Processing of immigration cases is delayed by USCIS deliberately by not hiring enough personnel to work on them. Ever wonder why the welcoming Statue of Liberty, off of New York, is oriented toward the immigrants coming across the Atlantic and not located off of Miami, Los Angeles or San Francisco to welcome the ones who come across the Gulf of Mexico or the Pacific Ocean? It's like naming the residence of the US President, the White House.  Just for sh!t and giggles. Do not take the above comments too seriously.
