DId u graduate in manufacturing engineering ?? I m doing industrial engineering and m about to graduate do u have any suggesstions on job search?? What do u think of current Job market for industrial engineers?

ya i work in a industries which is going under.  iam having a  hard time finding another job soon. i have a EE degree.  belive me my friend, industrial jobs are hard to find unless you wanna do labor job.  n with no GC or citizenship, its superhard to clear the security clearance.  the market right now is for IT or software developers and there's also much compitition.  also if you are freshly out of college, its gonna take a hell lot to find jobs coz industries requires a minimum of 4 yrs of exp.  i guess it will be better off starting with a firm or small companies.  neways best of luck ...

I know current situation but the thing is that I have been applying to so many jobs particularly in small firms and manufacturing companies but most of them are laying people off and they only have technicians job starting with 9 dollars n hour.. And the thing that surprises me most is that I barely receive calls from the jobs that I have applied.. Frustrating
