I posted to sell my stuff in craigslist and one guy paid me through pay-pal. He paid me money it is in my paypal account. But he wants me to send the product to Nigeria. I know this is scam 100%. I'm just playing game with him. How can I teach this crook a lesson. Money is already in my paypal account. What can me my options?

I had same problem last year. I received a confirmation email from paypal saying that the amount has been deposited in my account but I called them to make sure and found out that the email was fake. so, please contact paypal and make sure the money is in yr account already before shipping out yr stuff. 

i'm not shipping the product. i know it is a scam. Money has not been deposited in my paypal account.

i read it somewhere that it's some kinda arrangement where they can pull the money afterwards. a friend of mine learned that after she shipped her laptop to nigeria. 

once they send me the money through paypal, can they cancel payment and get their money back again?

Did the email come from XXXXX@paypal.com?  If not, it's 100%fake.

I think they can. call paypal to be sure.

Check your account online and transfer it to your bankaccount. Paypal returns the money to the owner  if the owner claims his account have been hacked or this is fraud transaction.So just check your luck.

Beware from these crook, they may hack your PayPal account. Be aware.

I am pretty sure, their target on your bank account or even more than paying for your stuff.
 
Just an advise, be careful, instead of teaching them lesson, you may learn a lesson.  May be an awful consequences.

Just let them know that you will not ship Nigeria and return the payment.

Do not deal with crook.

Even the money is in and you transfer it to your checking account as legit transaction. They have thousands of way to scam, one easy way is to claim to paypal , not receiving item sol, not received as stated.
My penny suggestion will be do not deal with evil minded people unless you can not avoid.

Yea like the guy above replied.... I once sold a book thru paypal and then the buyer complained that he hadn't received the book yet. I showed paypal the receipts of shipment, but they need the actual tracking number !!

Never deal with any Nigerian or African buyer. These are the most evil customers/buyers/ and countries in the planet earth.

If you do not refund the transaction, your paypal account will be limited in few days being involved with these types of crooks. I am 99% sure this is a fraudulent transaction.

 

Better , you log in to your paypal account immediately and refund the transaction in FULL if you want to save your paypal account. if your account is verified, getting second account with Verified status is almost impossible with same name and address. Paypal verify with SSN and you can not use your same SSN on second Paypal account.

I am sure, S/he is using someone elses's credit card and that will be "charged back" sooner or later.  If you are selling on Craigslist, you only want to deal with local people with CASH on hand.

 

Thank him for the prompt payment and tell him the item was just shipped. If he asks for a tracking number tell him that USPS didn’t give you a tracking number and you were told that’s an extra cost. Tell him he should receive it within a week. After a week if he complains, tell him you don’t know what happened and are happy to refund his amount, tell him to apply for a refund via paypal himself.
