Hi, I am Nepalese citizen working in Top India's software company since last 4 years in Bangalore. My company had initiated H1B visa for me in 2011 and it has been approved by USCIS. Can I go for stamping at Chennai consulate? Do I require additional documents for visa Stamping? Any help related to this will be much appreciated. Thanks, Prakash

My recent understanding is that you have to go to the country of citizenship. I recently heard in one of the Desi radio station (here in Dallas, TX, USA) that recently USCIS has changed their rules, and ppl now, no longer can go to Canada and Mexico to do their H1-B visa stamping.
