What is this VIN # request? What do you expect us to do?

VIN = Vehicle Identification Number. There are companies that keep track of vehicle history and to get that report you need to supply VIN.
As you follow others' replies, if any, you will learn a lot. So for now, you can just do nothing but browse I guess!

As ignorant as I am, believe it or not, I do know what a VIN number is. What I couldn't understand was why you were posting it on sajha. Are there people in sajha that work for the DMV?

Well my friend, in this Amrika for some godly reason, we are forced to learn things we cannot believe exist. I'm trying to buy a car but they said I needed to check its car history. Well there must be some good hearted bro out there who can do some magic and give me the info for free. I have seen a lot of folks had asked about it before, and some apparently did send it to them:-)

Some people buy car fax services when someone is in the process to buy car. I think it will have time frame to use or number of car fax reports.
If you are lucky some one have that services available same time you are too. In last 2 years I was lucky to get one car fax report out of 10-12 request.
My suggestion is do not solely depend on sajha for car fax report. If you are buying from a dealer they will provide it to you not sure the individual seller can provide you car fax report.
