You must be really really stupid or you must be crazy!!!!. Haina yo nepali haru ko dimag maa pani k k aaucha baa...Dude, even if e-verify doesn't found you are F1 student, you will be screwed while you apply for H1b or Green card later. So don't do that.

My undesratnding is that, E-verify doesn't mean authorize \ not authorize.......

it is just validating that the SSN number actually belongs to that person, so that no one else is using the false SSN no to work like many frds from south border do. I used to know few ppl, that they said they bought the SSN for $200.00

why ? what is the reason behind i'll get screwed when applying H1B, GC......In the past i've worked many years in paycheck and thousands of nepali students who go to OC work on paycheck using SS but they never have problems when applying H1B and GC. why do you think going through E-verify will create a huge problem ? Any specific reason ?

Thank you.

As far as I know, e-verify will show employer that 'the system cannot verify your eligiblity to work in US' so employer will tell you to contact UCIS to resolve the issue.

Suppose the system says "work authorized under DHS approval " (that's what it says in our SS), and i present a copy of my EAD (changing the expired date)...will that help ?

I think even if you have OPT, the system will probably say "work under DHS authorization" or something and you present the OPT Card to the employer as a proof right ?

if anybody knows the answer plz share.

E-verify means they verify if you are a US citizen or not. If not, they will verify if you have permit to work. And, if you don't then good luck going through ICE. How do I know it all, because I have been through this all and luckily I had EAD when it happened.
If you are planning to take the job offer, good luck getting screwed.
