i do not think u can compare USA n AUS coz it is not even close, hearing , reading n seeing all the life struggle abt the student in aus not finding jobs sleeping on the street , usa is way better, at least u don't have to hear that n anyone can find at least some kind of job( if not u r just too lazy), after graduation may be different story abt their PR system n tough job market in US n hard for GC. but i would still argue that USA is # 1 may by China after 20-30 yrs but right now nothing comes close to it. take it easy. peace. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO USAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Why not Denmark? It's No. 1. I would not suggest such ranknig for your life decisions... You have problems and opportunities everywhere. Larger economies definitely is a plus as some of the posters here alluded to.

easy going , I dont know where you got it, who sleep on the street? where did you get that? Heard of Shesh GHALE? in fact read the recent news in Kantipur about Nepalis in Australia.Number of Multi millionaires have crossed about 50 and number is doing PHD right now is about 200-300.Nepalese in Australia are working as a senior scientist , top government officials, Police, Army, navy etc.
and bostonktm Australia 's economy is trillion dollar+ with only 20 million population so its not always about economy as a whole, china may be second largerst economy now but with 1.3 billion population it is still a poor country. and for your information the report is prepared by UN and Norway Canada and Australia have been sharing no 1 spot for a quite a few years.
so Mr dolphin bro ask Nepalese living in Australia about Australia, not people living in USA.

I think people in AUS are more happy compare to the US counterpart especially for the students. all my friends who left for AUS are doing good and are well settled. and I also know how all my friends are doing here. here in the US, the immigration policy phucks us up really bad. As a student, you worried about your F1, college tuition and work just to get 5.15/hr. after you graduate, you worry about job, H1, travel restrictions to nepal, fear of visa denial. and after H1B, you worry about green card. and your 10-15 years are just gone thinking about all these things. I think all these statuses are accounted for most of my miserable days so far. i don't think in the AUS, you have to go though this. right after you graduate, you get the PR and hopefully a good job if you are a talented fellow, isn't that the case?
though social structure in AUS is not matured compare to the US but it's not that bad. since most of the Nepali are concentrated in Sydney or Melbourne, i think that you'll feel more homely with many homies living around. plus weather are pleasant there.
I think from job prospective, AUS is not bad either. they don't have high paying jobs but any middle class or average person can make a descent living from the way i see my few relatives and friends have been living in AUS.
even though i make six figure and have a job in fortune 500 company on H1B, i am still not happy with my condition with the way i have to deal with the immigration.

Australia? Really?
LOL!
granted they're doing ok and their $$ is catching up to US, it STILL isnt NOTHING compared to the USA!
a good comparison would be: Australia or Utah. In that case I MIGHT consider australia. But then Vegas is soo damn near..
Unless i want to ride kangaroos in the outback..
at one point in time the entire population of Australia was less than the city of Calcutta!
Ever see the tv series Flying Doctors? They do have flying doctors because the population is so scattered and scarce that in some places the best way to get to a doc would be to have him fly in on his twinotter.

The stimulus printed extra dollars which made dollar weaker so aus , canada etc are catching up with the value of dollar.now the second part is us goods and services will be cheaper so more us exports which means bad for aus , canadian companies.eventually they will ha ve to adjust to that or it will be a big loss for them.so waif for few months u will see some major changes.
From Trump “I will revoke TPS, and deport them back to their country.”
and it begins - on Day 1 Trump will begin operations to deport millions of undocumented immigrants
