Verizon wireless is suppose to unveil the Iphone on Tuesday Jan 11 and sales starting after few weeks. If you're AT&T Iphone subscriber, are you thinking of switching to Verizon ?
What are your thougths ?

 Finally there will be some competition. I see some price drops in service fee from ATT soon. 
ATT almost went bankrupt few years back if it were not for the Iphone. ATT has changed it's name several times because of the financial troubles.

 Questions is will it be iPhone4 or iPhone5.

Most likely it's going to be CDMA version of Iphon4.
No more dropped call i guess.. : -)

 I think it will be the 3gS version with 3g speeds not the LTE. Apple does not like to jump on emerging technologies . LTE so far hasnt been implemeted completely by verizon but it has a great 3G speeds. 

Leaving ATT will not be happy moments for any customers unless their contract is over because of high cancellation fee!!
It is said that ATT already knew that iPhone is going to Verizon so they made their cancellation fee high to prevent customer from switching from ATT!!

I really like Android phone than IPhone.

Apple is releasing better iPhone on Verizon, better network too ! iPhone 4 is one of the most beautiful thing on the world created by human (though i dont like it , its a fact which nobody can denay ) so who will run for 49 dollar iPhone 3gs with 345 cancellation fee !!

and more problem is not phone is expensive , but its plan is ! 450 mins cost 39 + tax , + data plan and 5000 night and weekends ! its like are you kidding me !! ATT plans really sucks !

 Well, Verizon will be making the announcement at 11am EST on 1/11/11.  

Hopefully it will be a newer version of iPhone, heck, I hope it will be iPhone 5 rather than just the cdma version of iPhone 4.  Even if it is the latter, Apple better have fixed the antenna problem that made the GSM iPhone 4 suck.

The desperate bid by AT&T to keep the its customer by offering old 3GS iPhone for $49 is just pathetic.

Personally I think Verizon is NOT going to make a lot of money in short run by selling Iphone 4 (if it were Iphone 5, may a different case). The reasons being,
1. Why would an ATT customer (with Iphone 4) pay hefty cancellation charge to get the same phone with Verizon.
2. The phone is CDMA, thus limited carriers.
3. Verizon's network is not going be the same with Iphone 4 in its lineup. Just like ATT suffered from dropped calls due to too much usage of smartphones, so shall Verizon.

ATT was smart enough to suck every penny out of Iphone sales, first by charging outrageously for the phone iteself, secondly outrageous data plans, thirdly by locking customers into long term contract. Android is the way to go and ATT is working full time to promote the new Android Phones. Though personally having used all these phones, I would agree that Iphone 4 is a thing of beauty and i would perfer Iphone 4 over almost all phones (exception Motorola Atrix which I am eagerly awaiting).

 Well, it is the redesigned iPhone 4 with upgraded antennae for Verizon.

The most anticipated so called dream phone (Verizon iPhone 4 ) is out without any good news ! CDMA version of same old iPhone 4 !
Not usable for other carriers as ATT iphone does !
