I got iphone 3 unlocked. There's some problem with the receiver..i can hear it sometimes and sometimes i don't. I assume it's a minor problem and u could have it fixed for few bucks. It's pretty okay if you have a bluetooth or turn the speaker on. Just in case you are interested I can try to get that fixed too.

I bought one for about a hundred bucks and it's still shining barely used and the user had jailbroken it. Tara for some reason maile aafno sim halda no service bhancha. reboot gare feri pani tyehi bhancha.. anyone with the knowledge please help. I contacted the seller and he has no idea says he had it working, will be returning it if i can not sort it out by tomorrow.

 Try to restore the iphone...or try to delete the ultrasnow package from cydia...hope this will help....

Try to restor it then unlOck it. I had the same problem as well. I was using 4.2.1. I couldn't jailbreak and unlock it the right way. So I restored it to the original factory setting. Then went to unlock mobile center and they did that for 10 bucks. 4.2.1 is easy to jailbreak but kinda hard to unlock it. Coz u have to install the IPad broadband. But many times springboard crashes. It won't bother though if you have patience.

 You guys thank you all for the concern. I will try to restore it to factory settings and see what i can do and i don't want it unlocked because i use att so i will let you guys know what happens.

Bud bro, first see if Cydia is installed on your phone. If there is no cydia then the phone is not jailbroken. You can jailbreak and unlock using custom firmware 4.2.1 which will preserve the baseband of your device if it was already Jailbroken. No need to update the baseband to iPad's. It is quite easy to do if you follow the procedure.
