Wow! You've got it in you and you beautifully portrayed a huge part of a person's life and personality in a 10 min video . My thoughts after seeing this...

I thoroughly enjoyed how you brought out a story behind a plate of sushi. A lot of us go out to eat and most of the time we are engrossed on our own problems and many a times I have complained about how dry or pasty the wasabi came out to be. But you brought a story behind that, behind a man who cuts the fish and garnishes the sushi platter. A man who was taken aback by the concept of eating raw fish and sounds as if he doesn't even eat sushi but he prepares it for us. Day in and day out. That's a very humbling thought.

You also show the monotony that has taken over Kancha's life. While he admits Loshar is really the only time when he gets to have fun, it's poignant to see how time has flown by. Coming to a new country and experiencing new things, he's settled down to dare I say 'the comfort of everyday life.' In fact he looks forward to retiring in Nepal for a change. We are all guilty of this, whether your job is to work at a store or make sushi or write computer programs, we become comfortable with our safety net. Nothing wrong with it but that's how it is.

Lastly, your editing and sound were both great and suited the story.

Great work once again!

FF

I liked your video and have few suggestions for you not necessarily professional, just from viewer's point. I don't think the scene of lake makes any connection with your story and also you have few scenes focusing on body parts of Kanchha in earlier part of the movie which I think are not necessary. I like your your video capturing and editing skills but as someone wrote you need better story. Instead of daily routine of Kanchha I would like to see story of his struggle and success, something interesting...

Hopefully, we will get more and better videos from you.
All the best.

@fortunefaded: i really appreciate for your feedbacks... thats was really really nice.. i m working on my next one... please watch it and feedback... thanks again

@Geology Tiger: thank you for your suggestion. to be honest, i had no intention of puttting that leg scene in there, infact lot of my friends brag me about that. my intention was to put feet scene there, i didnt notice that sorry of that. lesson learned. :D  about that timelapse of river, i was trying to show how fast time flys by. right after that he says life in newyork is really busy.  i am working on my next short film, please leave me a feedback

I really got lost in the minutia you portrayed! You definitely have a vision, you just gotta refine it! I think what you showed us required an intense research..and really I'm amazed! Wonderful camera works, editing, and background sound (Philip Glass??)!

I see room for improvement in ability to use natural light (overall it was good job)..I would like to see more videos from you in totally different topic....

Good luck!
