@ Sunrays: Why not post your information help rather than individually emails? Don't you want general public to benefit from your advice, whether they have lost their passport or not?

It's easy. Call your local law enforcement agency, maybe your county sherrifs office or city police and file a report. Call Nepal consulate in DC and get a new passport. Go back to Nepal and apply for a new visa. Good luck

Same thing happened to one of my fren a year before. he lost his passport so he made new passport from Nepali embassy, USA. Thenafter he went to Nepal got new visa for 5 yrs and was so much happy. Unfortunately, when he landed to USA ,immigration start interviewing him and checking his all history . He had used his SSN to work for 3 months.Thenafter immigration cancelled his 5 yrs visa and send him back to Nepal. He had around 3.9 gpa and had 2 more semester to finish his bachelor degree..So, guys try to fix your problem from USA rather than goin to Nepal for VISA.
