I was recently offered a Job from a Direct Company and is willing to file H1B this year and also willing to file my Green Card. I just wanted to know if i qualify for Eb2 with the following Job Requirement. I just graduated with Masters degree.
Job Title: Statistician/Biostatistician
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or closely-related field. Strong applied statistics background, with working knowledge of common statistical methods, including an understanding of their theoretical background. Strong SAS programming skills, including the ability to effectively use macros and create data displays (i.e. graphs and tables). Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Experience working on clinical trials is preferred but not required.

Congratulations on your job offer bro! Looks like you are perfectly eligible for EB2. I have a question for you: Given that you qualify for EB2, do u plan on applying for green card through EB2 directly or apply for h1b first? Is it possible to work apply for EB2 and work for a year on OPT? Isn't the wait time for EB2 less than 1 year?

I've consulted with Attorney and he wants me to apply H1B first and then start the GC process because going through EB2 directly from F1 may have problem because of F1 intent to return to Home after completion of degree. H1B has a dual intent so its a good idea to go through H1b-Eb2. That's what my attorney suggested me.
