Hello Sathiharu,
I want to invite my parents to US though I do not have specific cause (like graduation etc.) I am in H1B status. Can i invite my parents to visit here? If yes, what documents do I need to have?
Thanks in advance.

My parents came last year. I only sent them invitation letter, nothing from my employer except the copy of my visa and recent paystubs. they showed their bank balance in nepal. I wrote generic letter, we will do this we will do that type.your parents need to show intent to return and proof if possible, if they are retired it will be little bit tough. If you have unmarried sisters that is a huge positive.hope it helps.
