Aamir hopes Nepal'd lift ban on his movie

REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, July 4: Bollywood star Aamir Khan has said he hopes Nepal will lift a ban on the screening of Delhi Belly, an expletive-ridden adult comedy produced by Khan.

"I hope the board realizes that there are adults in their country," a news report by Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted Amir as saying. Amir has expressed disappointment: "I am unaware of how the Nepal Censor Board functions. If they have banned the movie, then it´s their decision."

Nepal Censor Board ordered a ban on the screening of the movie after the distributor failed to remove obscene dialogues as directed by the board.

Police on Sunday seized the movie print from the Gopikrishna Movies, the movie distributor in Nepal.
