Apple and AT&T are both reportedly gearing up their employees for September, the month that the iPhone 5 is expected to launch, according to several reports. Apple's iPhone 5 could well be flying off the shelves when it is made available, according to a new survey that claims 35 percent of U.S. consumers plan to buy it.

It's Sept 15, not the 5th.

no i am not ready. i dont need, want or waste money for iphones.

 WINDOWS PHONE is much much better than iPhone. Here's why:
1 - you can sync any files with your PC ( iphone can sync only music and some photos and apps ) 
2 - you get free US calls over skype ( now Microsoft owns Skype ) 
3 - access office files from your phone ( iphone can't open doc files and excel files )

Besides these advantages, Windows phone has every other features that iPhone has.

My whole family use Windows Phone and we love it. Before we had iPhone and couldn't open files that were in our PC. Now we can. 

Using windows phone to me is a joke when there are better, and faster android and iphones. It is like using Pentium I with windows 95 OS.

furke i thought same when i read his post but didnt want to hurt his Windows feelings so i didnt say anything.
believe or not windows has worst market place ever . i used to used hd2 and it bother me such way that i promise not to go back on windows.
but will surely try windows 8 on tablet.

1- Iphone is coming up with cloud. However, there are hundreds, if not thousands apps for IOS that provides you sync feature.
2- Skype? Why skype when there are app like Google Talk, Talkatone, Viber like app on IOS? Plus there are hundreds of free app with free texts worldwide.
3- Iphone can open doc or excel files. You just cannot edit them if you want to. YOu can go with IOS Pages or NUmbers if you need to create and edit docs in IOS.

I skipped on iPhone4, so am very much looking forward to iPhone 5.  Do you think Verizon will get it at the same time as AT&T?  My family in Cornwall is also eagerly waiting for it, but not sure when iPhone5 will arrive in England.   Any idea how much iPhone5 would cost in Kathmandu?  Probably available only from expats, unless Apple has opened up their store in KTM or nearby Indian city.

Oh give the guy who likes Windows phone a break!  You have to admit he is pretty unique on his choice, though the wisdom behind it is questionable.  But who am I to say anything?  Sadly, I just happen to be a (Apple) snob.

I am also waiting for Iphone5.

I have couple of questions regarding the use of Iphone and Ipad in Nepal.
Does ipad work in Nepal? Probably I have to buy a router (and modem?) to work in wifi. I dont want to buy many accessories for a month. How about wifi hotspots. 
And for iphone, what is the best way to use without any roaming charges?

Most bigger cities now have broadlink secured wifi connection. You have to pay them certain amount (i think its like 900/month) nd they will give you username & password to get
connected to their wifi network. I used to get prity good signal in my home
so depends on where you live at.
For my iphone I used to have Ncell sim and they provide 3g connection too. Its not as fast in here but still its not that bad. They charge you like 6paisa/kb so the cost will depend on your data usage.
