tan trash, same issue here. i have hp touchpad with android on it though. i did some research on it and tried installing nepali fonts but didn't work out the first time and gave up after that. some say opera browser works, but didn't work on mine. there are some browsers developed by indians, try them and see; i haven't tried yet.
let me know if you figure it out.

i doubt if those indians have developed anything for this tablet as it is built in a completely different platform. i would still try to make sure if they have. i was actually hoping to hear from who owns the same tablet that i do but i guess i will not.thank you for your prompt reply anyway daktarsap.

I also have touchpad. I tried to install Hindi fonts as per instruction provided on precentral.net. many touchpaf owners managed to install Hindi fonts but I failed to make Hindi fonts works on touchpaf. Then, I installed cynogenmode 7 version of Android on my touchpad. Now I m using opera browser to read nepali fonts.

@mulmiz, ....lol.. not that 'dolphin' you are referring to..
I'm pretty much sure, janterey is referring to another browser which is faster than the rest and have most features available.

Do you know mulmiz, how to view non-mobile version of the site on mobile devices?? well Dolphin gives you that option as well. But, sadly, it can't display unicode as clevely as opera mini does.

@tantrash, if you get hold of opera mini on your blackberry playbook, go get it. You should be able to read nepalese fonts.

now come back and tell me what you heard..

Blackberry has option to install whole new rom supporting Indi fonts , you can do that . But it will wipe your device and install whole new rom where you can read nepali fonts on facebook , and other apps and browser too .
iPad is only tablet that supports unicode (nepali) . I dont get why android cant read nepali fonts. Opera is just an app but android OS doesnt support unicode.

@facebook, I've said in my video that android is not yet capable to support "all" unicode. It does support unicode just not all. Android is open system and it's now virtually in thousands of thousand different gadgets. Imagine having to set this up perfectly in all those devices with varied requirements simply seems whack for now. But eventually, regional developers and mind will create something global without a glitch.
The reason, apple works because it's closed piece of shi--t and they don't have much to bother with. For time now, unicode is easy fish in a bucket just coz of this for them. Rest, I simply hate iOS. Android is what you can do most with. Real geek in you prefer android, else grandpa-mas can use apple. :D no fuss
But hey, with the tricks I've shown on the video, any android can read nepalese langauge or any other unicode language. It's very easy to do(only if you've a geek instinct)
You can't say now that android can't read unicode, it can read.. LOL>...

@Bittertruth , i didnt watch video you posted because i knew what you gonna do to read nepali fonts on android. You dont need to be geek freak for those simple few steps dude, i have done that before 1 year on my Galaxy tab 7" .
And btw i am more anti-iOS person than you are lol.
