Nepalese

Every corner of the World

Dear Nepalese:

We all are proud to be Nepalese and we love to serve our country the best way we can. All we need to do is make a strong bond with our fellow Nepalese and friends who loves Nepal residing all over the world and share the ideas for the brighter Nepal. Then those ideas can be filtered creating a proper objective of a project with proper guidelines and will be processed for implementation.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the project “Brighter Nepal” is to eliminate the quota system that currently exists in our country for people who are underprivileged.  We need to give every child the opportunity for the best education.  It not only provides the opportunity of having a quality education to the underprivileged but also would put the smart and brightest people on the front run position that they deserve irrespective of their origins and the cast they belong to. It further minimizes the frustrations that the bright students get for not being able to be selected in the government programs where the quota systems dominate their knowledge and expertise they have. Overall, it will help to create a brighter Nepal by creating a common ground of battle for all Nepalese.

SCOPE OF the project for brighter nepal

1.        Procedures

A.       Network with fellow Nepalese and one who loves Nepal and make them involve.

B.       Brainstorm for the possible ways that we could enhance the education system in Nepal focusing the underprivileged people.

C.        Come up with the top suggestions and the way to implement the suggestions for the project brighter Nepal.

D.       Create guidelines to meet the objectives and co-ordinate with other organizations and community to monitor the project effectiveness.

E.        Spread the message of volunteering work and its effectiveness in building a Brighter Nepal.

2.        Group meeting and discussion

A.       Work with fellow Nepalese or friends who love Nepal in your community, college or university organizations to come up with possible road map to achieve the objective for a project Brighter Nepal.

B.       Plan to organize the community event to collect fund for the project Brighter Nepal and make it as a part of yearly calendar.

C.        Contribute in social Networking that could enhance the abilities to meet these objectives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

This project brighter Nepal demands your help and suggestions in creating a brighter Nepal. Though the initial project will be in the education field later we can broaden our field of interest and enhance in the development of a brighter Nepal. The ultimate success is highly dependent on our commitments and how seriously we take this issue and how effectively we can handle it.  To help achieve a smooth and successful implementation, it will be your responsibility to:

1.        Collect fund for the project as money would be the key issue in maintaining the school and providing food supplies and housing for the underprivileged school.

2.        Share the ideas with fellow Nepalese group that are contributing in this project and increase the effectiveness of this project.

3.        Maintain proper check and balance to gain the trust from our fellow donors and organizations.

4.        Expand the project with other possible ideas that could contribute in creating a brighter Nepal.

BENEFITS

The benefit of this project is the self-satisfaction that we can get only after we see the outcomes. Personally I believe it is all about being responsible for our country rather than any other personal benefits.

COSTS AND PROFESSIONAL FEES

Being part of this project is free. However, as we are working in creating a bigger project that could provide an education to our underprivileged people in Nepal we would need some professional in Nepal and in foreign countries to be working side by side to start our ground work within a year. So, after a few month of collecting suggestions and ideas we can either find volunteers or hire people with skills to manage the project as full time employees with reasonable salaries. If we could co-ordinate with all the organizations in US and abroad we could collect enough money to run few schools in different zones. With the quality education that we provide we could stop the quota system and give equal opportunities for the brightest people to lead our country.

CLOSING

This project can be implemented with fewer difficulties if we work together and make it as transparent as possible. What we need is a trust and creative ideas to support this project. I am not talking about being on a moon. I am just talking about what we are capable of. I believe in being optimistic as it gives the energy to my spirit and keeps me focused irrespective of the difficulties that I have to pass.  Success lies to those who believe in others happiness. Please send me your comment and suggestions at my email address yogesh.koirala@gmail.com and share it with other fellow Nepalese within your community, and organizations at University and Colleges.

 Jai Nepal!

Sincerely,

Yogesh Koirala

Sexy,

Don't you consider a PhD student as a graduate student?

And don't assume that all of us are completely involved in IKEA bed project like you.

Everyone here talks about our country, people, poverty, corruption blah blah blah.......... but none of us has dare to do something in real life. And someone is apporaching with some ideas, visions and concepts to do something for our country in real ............and you again wants him to give you big bang on IKEA bed? Didn't you get enough when you went ot your father-in-law's house last time? Sexy, give him some constructive comments. I mean constructive comments .....don't start again something on contraceptives.

Yogi bro,

I am with you.

 sexy in sari,
you sound like a blonde hooker. why? blonde because you don't even know that both masters and PhD students are considered grad students (apologies to all blonde ladies for comparing them to an inferior like you). well, how would you know? (and here comes the hooker part) you didn't even graduate from highschool since you dropped out for your new profession that essentially deals with GANG BANG THEORY. Sorry, that was supposed to be BIG BANG THEORY. I guess it doesn't really matter since BANG(ing) is the only thing you seem to care about.
moral: keep your shitty attitute to yourself if you can't show a good one

koirala bandhu, i support your initiative. i get the big picture but some minor things are not clear. for instance, how do you contact/find donors? i'm assuming that you're planning to work on these issues once you have a handful of people to volunteer. if you ever feel like you could use some help, feel free to shoot an email.

Impressive thought and idea Yogesh ji.

As there is already an Organization with professionals in Engineering and Technical field "American Society of Nepalese Engineers"
http://www.asnengr.org
It will be more productive if we could collaborate more closely with organization like "American Society of Nepalese Engineers", whose main objective is to bring the Nepales professionals in Engineering and Technical fields together and to do something for Nepal. You can also communicate with ASNEngr in Facebook:  www.facebook.com/groups/asnengr
You can actively participate by opening a chapter in Colorado. As the main objective is to develop Nepal. Let's us collaborate together. As you suggested, the idea is not being on moon, but doing something what we can do.
  --Best Wishes.
