I know a person who can do the story for you, but he will charge 1200 to 1500.  You have to give him your background, and he will write a story and provide a list of documents to support your asylum.  If interested, let me know.

@rt5677: Let me tell ya sth. Remember there are always two paths for success. One is illegal and shortcut whereas other one takes time but you wil get it at the end. So bottom line is instead of filing for asylum, why don't you work hard to find a decent job while you are on OPT? Do your masters and you'll get GC within 2 years instead of going the illegal way & wrong path.

Just my 2 cents.

Peace

Sirus keep ur 2 cents with you. you might be brillient got job through some way but there are hundred of thousand of nepalese student who grad with working like hell but no job. who pay tution with money borrowing from friends credit cards but all they get is useless degree.
i dont think rt and every other guy who thought of assylum is thinking bad. green card and opt card are same for every person in USa either u earn from school or from asylum.
rt you can do it. since you are more than a year after entry ur case might be denied and send to court but u will get work permit to work and stay.
look some previous threads oon sajha about it. we already have long discussion about it before.
and to all who want to do it ; there is nothing wrong and illigal about this process. all matters is how you look into it . i look it as option.

I will be graduating this may and I've applied for OPT .. But I am thinking of applying asylum within few days of graduation, saying I can't go back, Because ...situation is worst, they have threaten me before and now they might kill me.
Has anyone experienced this before.

I know few folks who were approved even after remaining in the US for more than 5 years. So nothing is impossible. All you need is your genuine story and documents.

To we have to move to same place where we file assylum. Like if I want to file from California then do i have to move there or I can apply from different state. regardless-- every state have their own place to file assylum. But I came to hear that California is best for it. And I live in Northeast. Any idea ..........
