Although it seems regressive with their agenda of reverting the monarchy and the hindu kingdom, the momentum of RPP-N is appealing to many, especially those disillusioned by the concept of secularism. I predict they'll be the 4th largest party, fortunately or unfortunately, depending what you envision for Nepal. While most online friends are super excited about the free/fair election, I am cautiously optimistic as always.

I personally want to see the progress of Bibeksheel party regardless of how they fare in the election.

You might have forgotten about the Forum. Whether you bundle all the Madhes parties or just count Forum, I think they will be the fourth largest party. Also, they could be the most powerful party to create a coalition government. With Maoist and Forum steering our Constitution creation process, can be sure that Nepal will be divided ethnically into autonomous region.

I'm waiting for the result ,don't know how long they may take to count the votes !!!

I would say Maoist still will be the largest party and then may be NC, UML.

No clear winners are expected and they will spend another 6 years on drama of making government and constitution.

The countdown begins and the country is all set to begin its next episode.The election has been performed undisturbed in whole country with some horrendous acts in between by the native terrorists but was too feeble to quell the people's long yearn for prosperous and peaceful Nepal.

Baburam has a very comfortable lead in Gorkha-1

Hisila Yami's total in KTM-7 is half of the leader's total. But the votes are very preliminary.



Overall, Congress is leading the total tally (37), followed by UML(30) and Maoist(10). However, this is still preliminary and I am sure Maoist will make some significant gain soon. But looking at Congress's speed, it could be a tight race.
