After that, everyone poured into the capital for security reasons and brought in their cheap, deceitful ways. All these people want is to make a quick buck at any cost. There is no sense of ethics or personal respect. They will betray you over 50 rupees. They have spoiled the meaning of friendship, relationship and mainly trust. Actually, Kathmandu is the worst place to live in Nepal and one of the worst city in the world. People in Kathmandu are very much like hybrids who imitate western cultures then they feel superior to other fellow Nepali. Only Newars that too mostly uneducated and lower strata have preserved their culture and proud of their way of living.

I lived in Kathmandu quite long though never liked to live their. Almost always when out of Thankot felt like i left the hell for good. Most people live in Kathmandu because it is capitol city and is economical and political center as well. Since it is political and economical center, all the crooks are naturally attracted to it.

Kathmandu became worse ever since those paakhes started flooding. Kinda like Mexicans flooding in the U.S.

We know that Nepal is not even as big as so many USA states. Its not ethical to judge anything like that. Nepal is far like a third world country. we got to cover our mouths even when going out of our home coz of pollution-- see the roads, even in the slightest of rain the roads gets vulnerable, the road connecting valley, its a matter of life &death everytime we travel (morelike suicidal), we hear about trafficking of our girls everyday,we boast ourselves as brave Gurkhas you know what, they r being used by them. Nepalese are placed in frontal line in battlefield and in so many cases we find them getting disrespected. On top of that, in this age of technology we have load shedding upto 18hrs everyday. See the incidents in Malasiya, & everywhere Nepalese r ill treated and given low privilages. One of the main reason is -- WE ARE DIVIDED AMONG OURSELVES & INSTEAD OF TAKING 99 +ves WE TENDS TO POINT OUT 1 -negatives n we pinpoint, back bite among each others. That's why we are slagging.
