न्युज २४ टिभीले रविको कार्यक्रमको एक भाग प्रशारण नगरीदिएपछि उनले लेखेका थिए
"दुख लाग्यो!!कार्यक्रमको मुख्य रिपोर्ट नै काटियो। उक्त सामग्री केहिबेरमा पोष्ट गर्नेछु।"

त्यसको केहि क्षणमा नै उनले फेरी दुख लाग्यो भन्दै भिडियो शेयर गरेका थिए :

As his critics, I also used to think him as being simple minded for not understanding the complexities of the society. But, today after watching this video that I realized that he really knew what he was doing. My thinking was just based on my fear. Rabi Lamichhane knew the problems of foreign employment first hand. He worked in a subway restaurant with many other Nepali workers in the USA. As a general manager of few restaurents, he also had exposure to Nepali employees problems and their wishes. When most of the media were just busy talking about politicians, he put the Nepali people at the center. He really put his experience and media skills together!

"knowing the facts" & making them "popular" are two entirely different things ..
He (or, someone in his team) is smart in that aspect..

एउटा भनाइ छ नि, ज्ञान को स्वतन्त्रता हासिल नगरी अभिव्यक्ति को मात्र स्वतन्त्रता हासिल गर्नु घातक हुन्छ। most of these so called  patrakaars fall under the latter category.

Rabi Lamichhane has lived his life. He married twice. He has a child from his live in relationship with a foreign woman. He held world record as a TV presenter. He had the most famous if not one of the most famous show in the history of Nepal TV shows. Now, he wants more fame by doing good to the society. Go man!

He is an icon! He just doesn't talk, but he also walks the talk.

Logan man, I am just trying to say that he has seen few things in life that are not traditional. When you do new things, you feel new emotions. I didn't say those were great things. However, I think that the great thing that came out of his experiences is "सिधा कुरा जनता सँग "| All I am saying is when life gave him lemons, he seemed to have made lemonade out of it.
