Many politicians have been bribed to support MCC. You all know what happened in Afganistan. MCC is a corporation that is like a parasite which will suck countries dry of their resource and fill the bank of their owners.

Something has to be done to crete job opportunities. Blaming around is not going to help anyone. We are already here in the US for better life, and lakhs go to Arab countries for emoyment every month.

Sorry state of nepalese commenting here. Looks like the ones living in the US and asking MCC to be applied in Nepal have mentally been colonized. There are many ways to providing job opportunities in Nepal. MCC is not the only way. Furthermore, it is an investment of american and nepalese capitalists. They will exploit Nepal's natural resources to rake in all the month. And the ones getting jobs will get a minimum wage with difficulty to finish off the money. As they say pay-check to pay-check, hence a modern salve to millionaire and billionaire masters.

Only recently Nepalese industrialists have started getting into big hydro electric projects. The problem with Nepal is that the politicians are for sale and they will sell themselves to the highest bidder. MCC corporation only goes to countries where they have found some natural resources that they can extract and profit from. They are fully connected to the top US powers that is why they supply their own mercenaries and army to protect their business. This is one of their conditions which is to have their army present to guard their area. They are planning to set base and have the base be like Area 51 where noone else can go inside not even top Nepalese beaurocrats. Their condition is that they need to be above the law. 

I would still think that working for a forgein company in your native country is better than working for forgein companies in forgein countries. What do you think?

harke it's not the question of working for foreign companies. it's the question of your country losing it's power in own country. How would you feel about renting your house to foreigners in the condition that you cannot have any say about what they do in your house? They could murder anyone in your own house and get away with it.

@teslaguy for amazon it could take 5 more years to expand in Nepal. First, there needs to be adequate infrastructure (roads and energy) in place. And, the business friendly laws. For google and Facebook, they can operate from anywhere as long as there is a good internet connectivity.

@Independent There needs to be a law and order. I know few US officers were prosecuted for war crimes in Afghanistan. And, I don't think that the MCC corporation would be able to control Nepal for only giving 500 million dollars. There are 30 millions population. That is only 16 dollars per person. 🤓

Harke one of the demands of mcc is that they are going to be above the law in their business venues. Noone should be above the law no matter how much money they have. Only people who will accept such terms are people with slave mentality.

Independent who isn't a slave? We, all, are slaves. We need to work for survival. Even Jeff Bezos works. He runs the Amazon. Thats why I would think that it is better off to be slaves with cars than slaves with "खालि खुट्टा" as long as we can have our dignity intact. Wouldn't you think so? Would you have come to the US if you had a good paying job in Nepal?

@Independent as i heard major American agency and INGO working in Nepal bribes the politician to recives donation on behalf of Nepali citizen.

It’s one thing to rent out your room with pride as its your property. But its slave mentality to be ok with your renters fking your sister and mother just because they give more rent. I rest my case.
