Congratulation!!!! TO THE TIGERS A big question to Indian Team after Sri Lankan saw off them on y'day's match. However, it was a close victory by the tigers. Despite having two proven opening combinations : Tendulkar-Ganguly and Tendulkar-Sehwag, it was Parthiv Patel (6) with Tendulkar (11) in y'day match. With minnows like UAE, Dravid was asked to wicket-keeping. Various questions arising whether Dravid (back bone of Indian team, now - i wud say everything relies on him) shud concentrate on batting only or in both???? SL and IND will meet again on July 27th. In an another match, Pak set the highest total in Asian Cup history, surpassing their 320/3 against Bangladesh at Dhaka in 1999-00. Hats off to the all rounder Sohaib Mallik and Younis Khan whose centuries help Pak to set the target of 343 for HKG. Till now, already 3 centuries by Pak player. I think the new coach has brought a charm/strenght/encouragement to the Pak team. Rawalpindi express was asked to take rest. Next interesting match: Pak vs SL on July 21 and of course, after PAK lost the ODI and TEST series against IND on their home soil, both of them gonna meet again on JULY 25: PAK VS IND Who gonna meet whom in the Semi-Finals ????

Sher Lama of Hong Kong bated 16 no against Bangladesh, but they did not play him against Pakistan. Anyway good luck to the only Nepali player for future. SL-Pakis-Ind, it will be entertaining, Dravid, that is why they call him Mr. dependable, and if he does not object it is better to let him do two roles, while accomodating Bhajji as extra bowler and with Zaheer doubtfull, Laxman should again be in. Anyway Neural how is it going? links to our small stinct with cricket in this little island. http://www.geocities.com/taipeicricket/photogallery.html

.WELL DONE Sohaib Mallik.... i was waiting for his three-digits score.. and finally, he made it. Congratulation on his maiden century against INDIA. Pakistan - 198/3 after 35.5 overs. Run rate : 5.53 If Youhana and Mallik partnership continues, India would have difficulties to face the target. Go Mallik GO..............................

.Pakistan ended up with 300/9, an excellent inning by them. 300 would be a big ask for India. Mallik has punished the Indian bowlers badly, especially Balaji and Nehra had the expensive spells. Hats off to Mallik for his great performance, 143. It's a do or die match for both Ind and Pak to reach into the final.

.Razzaq strikes in his very first over. Mr. Dependable or the backbone of IND was appealed LBW and here goes, the UMPIRE's finger UP. 94/3 ... still India has good RR.
