Dude they didn't make that Palace they used to live in basantapur, if I know properly I read it someplace that palace used to be owned my some thapa, they might have bought it from him or just taken and moved from basantapur durbar to Narayanhiti palace.

Gorharli X bro, I would like to add some more information. King Tribhuvan moved from Basantapur to Narayanhiti (as far as I remember correctly), I could not get the source though. Any way, palace doesn't belong to the royal family i.e. it is not KG's personal property, it is owned by the government and controlled by the government. King merely works on salary, now the thing is his salary and expences are paid for my the government and it has increased by some very good percentage.
