Too bad Nepal is not blessed with this kind of King.Though Nepal king is supposedly a reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, yet we have yet to witness his highness's godly act.

King G's actions just suits the desperate Nepali peoples expectations, but to go on and say King G did it for the country is stretching it. As I see it, the main reason for King G to resort to the coup' is to salvage kingship, but whatever outcome it brings he will have the best share of it to himself and Paras. As I read it somewhere, GPK was in the brink of bringing Maos to the table, King G tured the other way and did what e did...conclusion: He was afraid, in the long run the outcome would be against sustainense of Kingship. So the Nepali people have fallen into the paternal dependency by default.

Who is in Illusion, people supporting GP's and Makune and going against the king or people against them wholeheartedly supporting Raja Sakar Gyanendra? I support not the kings move but some unforseen force working out to gradually bring this worst of the worst situation into better out of what has recently happened. If you think King made it happen so be it, after all from what he started, its in his action that will bring forth either good to Him alone and secondarily to the country, or to the country and secondarily or tertiarily to his him.

People who are in a state of confusion find themselves in illusion.................... and people are confused only when they don't have a clear picture of what they really want..... since most nepali are already in a state of confusion because of thier own leaders' activities, they are likely to be spellbound in this so-called illusion set up by corrupt leaders.... ..for the time being, nepali want peace and order, and of course KING G is trying to bring the same to the country..once we get what we want, then we can ask for other stuff like democracy, freedom etc.... "birami manchhe lai okhati chahinchha, mithai hain"

Sounds like people who know King G's past and still place him in PrithiviNarayan Shah's shoes looking to see a politically united Nepal are in Illution. I think both the Party and the King to be responsible for what has happened, obviously the party is going to look the worse compared to the king, who knows besides there own misdeeds the kind of notorious position they might have put under by the King, because as the historical law, they had to obey the king and take the blame for it. Obviously, king had the power to dissolve them for his own sake and further in looking at historical context, the relationship between Raja and Rajya,it was easy for him to make the Junta believe as always, Raja is the saviour. In that sense, the Junta have been in Iluution all along. Dherai nepali ko Mithai Khai Kahi awoosadhi khakoo bhanthannne bani chhaa...but such in the mental illness, if you feel you are cured, who needs the Awoosadhi?

Still in illusion..................??? I have never seen or read of any case of massive illusion in which the entire country is under such hallucination.... It's time to realize that the blame is not entirely on parties and king, nepalese media and people themselves are also culprit to some extent...... Why don't nepali people blame themselves for pushing the country into doldrums?????

The first step to come out of hallucination is to realise that your are hallucinating. Secondly, the people are the victim, victim's should not get the blame. They should rather find the right culprits, and yes, The King and the Parties and the Media, and the Indians are to be blamed, not the people. Only in true democracy can people be blamed, to further hail the king and say whatever the king does will be good because he is godlike is a symptom that the illution has flaired up or sustained again, thanks to King G.

Who is mesmerising nepalese people ????? This is a very togh question to ask and we may have different answer to this question..byt the truth is that nepali are still in illusion..... I completely disagree with all the folks who blame KING, Parties, maoists, media and do not blame nepali people themselves.. Why don't nepali people blame themselves for pushing the country into doldrums????? ..They say that "falana & dhiskana leaders are corrupt and still end up chosing them to represent in the parliament ( when it was in existence) and following them (after feb1)...What kind of "PAKHANDINESS" they are revealing here????

Nepali people have been mesmerised by the goverment, the goverment has been sustained by such forces as chakari established by among others, the ranas when pawer was taken by the few "Afno Manche's"..that is ranas themselves. such bureaucracies still works when it coems to making the superiors and ultimately fulfill the wishes of the King. Nepali people have let themselves be illusioned by the goverment, abused by the goverment and the unperceived force has been the king and his adopted afno manche's, so to still hail the king is to perpetuate the illution, in that sence, yes the people become culprits as well.

..having said that nepali are partly responsible for the current fiasco, we definitely cannot spare KIng G and others alike.... However, the bottom message is that Nepal needs some action to come out of this crisis and KING G (whatever his motive are behind) wants an outlet to this crisis... Someone has said it correctly that if safety-tank in your house is filled up completely, you always try to empty it..You don't want to live in a stinky house forever....And when PODE is cleaning the saftey-tank, all the house members better allow him to do his job by being outside his "working territory".... We can apply the same to the present crisis also...Our"HAGUWA" leaders and alike messed up with the country and nation's "so-called" safety tank got filled up..People were suffocating with its stink...and none of the leaders try to resolve the problem... ..and finally KING G took initiative to empty the tank and resolve the problem...if he says it takes 3 years, better wait and see how he cleans everything... ...akhir ghar ko safety-tank safa garn kohi ta chahiyo ni..hain ra????

Its all relative, yeah, we people were aghast by the stinky smell, king took the role of PODE and is trying to empty the tank, which is well and good.. but for the king himself, he was in dire problem of loosing the safety tank itself..if he succeds, he will keep the safety tank and we will be able to breath with ease...for how long..depends upon how well he cleans it...hopefully he will not work on the tank that people will still smell the skunk but he will retain the tank forever.
