ghyabri ji It depends which version you're using. When it comes to Imageline, they upgrade their product every now and then. The lastest one so far is FL Studio 6. I'm familiar since version 4 and I have no idea before that, I guess pretty primitive. So if you have anything after 4, it's pretty straigh forward. You can automate anything, any button knobs internally or externally. You draw internally and for external, you use a controller (anything with knobs, faders like a midi keyboard or just straight controller). So the Pitch.... Internal (if you don't have a controller, keyboard). 1. Open up the generator, the one you want to change the pitch. 2.Right click the pitch (it's at the top) 3. Edit Event 4. Now draw with the pencil (you get at the top of that window). Make sure draw where you want it on the timeline by selecting it first (the top of the timeline becomes pink??) 5.Fool around that screen since it has lots to offer. External (Keyboard with knobs, fader or any other external controller) 1. Open up the device you wan to tweak 2.Select any knobs (including PITCH if you want) that you want to tweak 3.Right click , go to "Link to controller" 4. Move any fader, knob on your keyboard. This will automatically link them. 5.Repeat this for any number of controls you want to. It'll all depend how many knobs you have with your keyboard. The more, the better. Keyboard controllers are cheap these days. You can then tweak lots of the parameters in live use. I hope that help. Let me know if you figure it out. I can point towards some site with further tips if you want to. I'll have to be at home for that.

ghyabri ji I think you should seriously think about Abelton Live for live use, I think there's nothing compared to that in the price range. It's all design for live use with so much flexibility. Although the interface doeesn't look that fancy like Fruity, it's far superior for live and DJ (I forgot it's become their favorite). namaru ji How's the Guitar Rig? Can you just plug in your E guitar straight through a mixer and be able to use it as a plug in and still get those sounds? Technically it should be as long as you don't have latency with the audio interface (which I get under 6ms with mine). Is it true? How is Audigy? Do you get high latency? You seems to record more. What do you use Reason for, drum loops?

Yes Bob Marley.. Guitar Rig is a Real time effect processor software. I keep my Latency 2ms. Audigy is great but recently I'm getting some clicks and flicks while recording my guitar via guitar rig. The good thing about creative sound card is you can use Sound Fonts.

namaru I need to get an electric guitar then. Guitar Rig also comes with a foot pedal from NI. It might be a big help to control in live. I can get the 2ms latency but since I use a lot of VST and effects, any sequencer starts to hog the CPU, so I have to set it a little higher. How lucky have you been with Behringer products? Are they good enought to last for few years?

Behringer are pretty good for the price you pay.. for less than $100.00 you can get pretty good mixer with built in effects. For home studio I think its the best.

Namaru Ji, 72nd St Band. I've heard that name mentioned quite often here on Sajha. Hey, at least your famous and your music are good. Rock N' Roll always live forever. Who's voice is that on those songs?

Lato Ji It's good to hear about your interest. I'm not an expert with DJing but I do have few info. I have no clue about traditional style DJ with turntable and vinyle. I have seen and touched once. Some one here might want to shade more light on this. This is if you want to go this route. But I do know that with new technologys, these days, you can achieve the same thing and more using a computer(usually a laptop), softwares and a basic midi controller. Well they might say it's not a real DJ, but if you can get the thing done, who cares. Also you might want to to look into the new turtables on the market. I think they're very advanced where you can hook them up with computer and DJ with CD and mp3. For the start, I can think of few names with turntable: Numark, Hercules, Pioneer, Stanton (???) Software:Traktor DJ, Virtual DJ, eJay You might wan to google and find those names, I might be wrong with the names. Find a good site that has tips, tutorials, get a book about DJ and go for local DJ show whenever you can. Get a good studio monitor(U definetly want that Bass more powerfual for DJ), headphone for cueing. I think this should be a start.
