Let me rephrase the topic. I love my friend, lets not classify it as bahun or newar. He is hilarious, he has one of the best sense of humour in the whole world. I have known him for over 10 years and he is a great friend. Write about your friends. Spread peace and love, not hatred!

I am a bahun, and I love my newar friend:

I have so many friends in my close circle back home. One of them is newar and coincidencly, most of others are bahuns including me. I feel even closer to this newar one. He gave me a great hand everytime during my academic and social life back home and I find his continual encouragement at every bit of message he writes me frequently.

That's we, we Nepali-- neither Bahuns, nor Newar, ...

i hate everyone ...and that's that!!

My grandfather is Newar, my grandmother was Tibetan, that makes my father half Newar and half Tibetan, and my mom is Pandey, I guess that makes me only Nepali. I love and respect every race equally that I belong to and those too that I do not belong to. It makes me sad to see threads full of racial hatred. I get hurt from both sides. Please stop this! we are Nepali before anything else.

Here's my story
.Born in a strict Tibetan family
.Raised in Pokharaa during childhood among Damai, Kasai with the golden memories. Some of the kind hearted people I've ever seen.
.High school, college in KTM with Newars, Bhaun and Chhetris. Newaris were everyday part of my life, infact I know more about Newari culture than most of my Newari friends. I regret I could never learn Newari language since my stupid friends didn't speak at their home. My friend's mom was even thinking about hooking me up with a Newari women from her family side.
.Always had Newari girlfriends.
.Found memories of Patan, Bhaktapur as part of getting away from home.
.Love all my friends back home.
