What can I say about Singapore ? Best of east and west..certainly yes !!! THough the SIngapore government policy has not been so friendly towards us - the sons and daughers of lahures. But I still love so much about Singapore.....the food, the sound, the place, Singlish ( :) ) and many more. Certainly no matter I end up, Singapore will alwyas have a place in my heart.

Yes, I too have heard about the Singlish govt policy - pathetic! But the main culprit in all this, I am given to believing, was some GC wall at the top echelon in rank and file, who mucked up the whole thing way back when. When given the option of opting for naturalisation, he'd apparently told the Singlish Immigration wallas that no GC chhoraa/chhorees were to stay in Singapore upon the discharge of their parents from service and that the place would be too crowded or something to that effect. What an a**se - friggin psychophant*&^^^%% This he had apparently done knowing fully his children were to stay back when the Dumbaa (forgive my french) got retired as he had arranged for his children's stay well before the policy was put in place. Heard this story many moons ago hai but not sure, if this is true!

As per now, regarding the Employment Pass, Student pass conerning us Bhanjas and bhanjees, someone has already wrote a letter to the Prime Minister. Besde the letter, he has also managed to get the attention of some CEO of a big company to find out why there is this unfavouroable policy towards us - sons and daugheter of lahures from a top shot in the immigriation department.

Right now I am crossing my finger that this guy's letter and influences from his powerful connection will yield a positive decision from the Singapore government concerning -

1) Permenant Residneny
2)Student Pass
3)Employment Pass


Will be updating this thread as often as possible even if I don't have people following it
