WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING IN DASSAIN ? I.E. OCTOBER 2-3...AS IT TURNS OUT IT IS IN THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK...SUCKS......ANY EXCITING PROGRAMS IN THE EAST COAST OR FOR THAT MATTER ANYWHERE IN THE USA????

Aren't you the lucky one Uday! Forget about khasi, I havent eaten khasi ko masu for so long, i dont remember how it tastes like. If dashain was during weekend, maybe I would have gone to a temple. So the real dashain would look to me like PowerGal's...minus the Nepali restaurant and Birthday. Coming to think about it, I prolly wont wake up in the morning and say 'oh, its dashain'...having no nepalis around me, it will look exactly like today, yesterday...watever.

lol seriously i enjoy christmas much more than dasain nowdays.

I already bought one singo khasi last saturday. So, friday our 4-5 frens going to one frens place. so, we will stay there friday saturday eat khasi , drink little bit (usually I don't drink), talk smart, on sunday eve. dashain ko tika lagayo ani gahr pharkiyou coz I have to go to work on Oct 2nd.
On monday, wake up at 6:20 , take shower, check mails and nepal ko news , go to work , drink coffee.. work and work till 4:30 come back home cook dinner , go to bed same rpeating all 5 days in a row.

Nothing. Did not even used to care about it while back in Nepal, forget about it in aboard.
Perhaps joining some frns on Sunday for heavy drinking, may be...

firstly i got no idea when the dashain is start!
secondly would be at work!
Thirdly if i am invited to nepali gatherings let us pray that i would not start the fight as i have always been doing.

go work at 8 come home at 5, may be dinner if not then watch tv and off to bed; same old sh*t just different day...

I have not had pure khasi ko masu since I left nepal. How can you find pure khasi here anyway. I mean it will be either bakhri or boko right. I am not interested in those. I am good with chicken or turkey ke garne Angoor amilo chha :-)

This dashin should be fun, coz theres a public holiday in sydney on monday.
I think theres 2 nep program for dashin one on 30th sept n otha in october.
Also tika with mum dad and family frens all round. Yay should be fun, another reason to dress up.

I am having 'Kuchi Bhoya' on Astami. We are planning to chop a khasi. :D
