This thread is for those of us who have spend most of the time driving. I wonder what you listen to while driving to and from work. you input is appreciated.

I like the wind blowing thru my hair and the deafening noise of trucks whoosing by... :-D

on a wintry days when i can't do that...i listen to techno or ROCK .. coz i hate every and all stations that give traffic and weather news. They take away the train of thoughts... Or i even listen to some alternative ..wahhoo some songs i actually know maybe a few words on

NPR -- all the way! I used to listen ROCK music. Then shifted to HIPHOP. However, I sometimes listen reggae.

Bcoffee what about listening to the voices inside your heart? :P

Classical to hip-hop, gazals to modern hindi songs, purano nepali geet to nepali hips, anything to flow with the mood!

i normally listen to nepali/hindi songs full blast. then sing so loud that White people stop and look at me.
One time the S hole cop pull me over.

NPR and only NPR...and on those sunday mornings when they broadcast the Church service, I switch to Kiss FM. Usually dont get up early on Sunday, so havent had a chance to listen to FM very much.

But these NPR fellas do drive you nuts with their fund raising efforts. No matter what they say, I believe station like NPR should be funded by the govt. and state, and those rarified corporate donors, not listeners like us. I understand there is a chance of getting biased news that way, but hello??? its a PUBLIC radio station and it should be supported by our tax money, not donations!

exactly, its a public radio station, should be funded by public.
well anyways, i like AM, cnn, talk show -bill o railey, and wahts that others name, but its fun. AM 1420.
