Dont you think that's too much of an expectation? ;) I personally think it's too hard for them now to compete in a race for EPL glory. Well, it's still on, but I think it'll take a heck of a performance from them to snatch the title from magnificient Man U who are almost certain to win the championship this season. I wish them the very best but...you know...

well man utd is wining games in last minute which ain't a positive sign for them and the haven't got much of their important players injured...but you see chelsea they are in a tough time with injured players but have won games....

Carling cup is a micky mouse tournament. Premiership and Champions leauge are the real tournament. Liverpool will once again be the king of europe . Man U will win the premiership.

rockend. We all know how important is carling cup. It is no where as prestigious. I have seen it. Many matches are played in empty stadiums. It doesnot drive passion as champions league or EPL. FA cup is much better. Experts were once talking in skysports wether Carling cup should really be played becasue it is just add unneccessary pressure on players.

Comparing Carling cup with EPL or Champions league is like comparing Thailand open tennis with wimbledon.

I agree with some of the folks over here about chelsea's chances for the EPL title. They are nine point behind the red devils with a game in hand at the current situation. However, I do not comepletely put off their chances to EPL title this season. The title could be decided by the away matches of MU at anfield and stamford bridge according to me. But the league is at a interesting mode at this time.
On the other hand, the blues are doing really good in Europe and they are equally strong contenders for the FA cup. They do have better chances for success in these two tournaments compared to EPL at this time.
Finally since I am a chelsea supporter all I want to say is Go Blues !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey although m a big chelsea fan but i have a sneapl preview in ma mind that this time around.. blues wont get their hand on the championship title...although they may win the european championship but i think premiership is really an uphill task with the red devils juss pushing them back

I can't wait to see Man utd gettin their ass kicked by liverpool at anfield...although it's unrealistic hope to think liverpool as EPL champion this year....
they have been keeping clean sheet for 9 consecutive matches ...it's really a good sign because they are playing man utd this weeked follwed by barcelona ..both "anfield"...hurray!!!
