Go to this site to get the list of senators. It also has addresses and links to send email messages to any senator you want. You don't have to restrict yourself; you can send messages or your openion to any number of senators.

Then, change the following letter by just inserting the name of the senator that you are sending your openion to:

Subject: excessive (over five year) delays for permanent residents to be united with their foreign spouse/children.

I am writing to you as a friend of a family who is undergoing hardship as a result of numerical limitations on the spouse/children of permanent resident immigrant visa. They have been separated for several years now. It takes in excess of five years to get this visa. Beneficiaries are not allowed to visit the petitioner while they wait.

I urge you to support the proposed amendment to the "Boarder Security and Immigration Reform act of 2007” by Hillary Clinton (D-NY) to end family separation. It is often said that family unity is the cornerstone of the American immigration system. Let us not deny this to our future citizens and their families. Let them not have to decide between country and family.

It don't take more than a minute or two and you can be proud of yourself if the amendment get passed. It has pretty good chances to be passed because the amendment is proposed by no other than a presidential candidate.

Chicago-Bull, I am not advocating Hillary for the president. I am just advocating for the amendment she is proposing to the new Senate Immigration Bill. The amendment is important rather than the person who proposed it. I would have supported the amendment even if the amendment had been brought up by an anti-immigrant republican. So the theme is something other than what you understoood.

Everybody, again I am not telling anybody to vote Hillary or Obama or whatever. I am just saying that Hillary Clinton is bringing a new amendment to Immigration bill that will help foreigners like us to bring our families to USA. The bill is pro us and there is nothing against us in the amemdment that we have go against the Hillary. We all foreigners definately want the amendment to be passed and Hillary needs other Senators' support to pass the amendment. I am just explaining the way that you can send your openion to USA senators to tell them that you support the amendment. If they become aware of the issue, then they will support the Hillary's amendment and amendment will pass and we will benefit. Is there anything else that is confusing? I am not sure why we all are going after vote this person and that. The bottom line is that we want the amendment to be passed. We don't care who vote for who and who is the next president of USA.
